Ordered spicy orange chicken with rice, egg rolls, & vegetable soup.
Food was still HOT when I got home. Chicken was crispy, portions were huge, and everything tasted great. They had a deal so I got everything for about $20 and it was enough food for 3-4 people.
Only thing I didn’t like is that I only got 1 fortune cookie and there were no veggies or anything in the rice. It was just plain fried rice.

I Bought the Pu Pu Platter with a side of lo mein. Boy let me tell you, making this into a waffle was something special. I am glad I took my talents to king wok.

I’m pretty confused about a lot of the other reviews here. I’ve never eaten at the restaurant but ordered delivery from here many times now. This is some of the best “Chinese-American” food I’ve had anywhere. As in, whoever is back there understands this as a distinct cuisine that has its own rules and reasons for being delicious. For example: Of course fried chicken in a sweet sauce tastes good but a place like this cares enough to nail the breading and what the texture becomes in the sticky sauce. Maybe I’m overthinking sweet and sour chicken but suffice it to say that if you want American style Chinese food, this is about as good as it gets.

This place is the worst!!! Go anywhere else than here. I was told 20 minutes to pickup my order. 2 hours later and still not ready. Worst managed and operation I have ever seen. I have been a retail manager for over 35 years. Sat here and listened to phone operator tell people 30 minutes wait and they have all be here 2 hours too.
Also, they have their kid sitting at a table blaring his tablet. Rude and annoying.
Do better!!!!

Yuck. I came for the almond chicken. The veggies weren’t bad, but the meat was inedible. As you can see from the photos, it was mealy and crumbling. It had the oddest texture and was not recognizable as chicken. The almonds were not sliced or blanched, but whole and dumped on top as an afterthought. The fried rice was hard and dry and I was served ice water in a styrofoam to-go soup container. This had the distinction of being the worst meal I have ever been served in any restaurant, ever.

Ordered two items. It was lunchtime and it was empty. Should have been first warning. 3$ extra just to switch to noodles? Every other place charges 1$. And out of two meals, one wasn’t right. They charge 50 cents for using a credit card. Drive a little further to the next one

I walked in thinking I would be greeted and seated at a table with a menu. Instead, I had to ask for a table and a menu. Before I was seated, I had to order from a menu and pay up front having to cross out the tip amount on the bill . When I was seated, the food arrived on paper plates and boxed up in to-go style. I said I didn’t order to-go and was told they don’t use regular tableware. By this time I was disgusted and pushed all aside, refused the food, and commented, “I’ll go find a real Chinese restaurant” and I left.

THIS POST IS FOR KING WOK IN WATAUGA I ordered vegetable fried rice, even asked about the veggies, she said yes there’s scrambled eggs, peas, carrots etc. I can’t believe NO Vegetables in the rice, no scrambled eggs either!!! The sweet and sour shrimp wasn’t that good either. I should have realized not to bother ordering there as this place looks like it needs to be condemned, don’t go by the pics!!! It’s not at all like the one on Golden Triangle that I use to order from years ago. Please don’t waste your money. CK your food before you leave, I wish I had.

Love this family. Someone stole our big order before we picked it up. The owners quickly remade it and were so sweet. It is our go-to for take out.
