adults and one teenager who supposed to be sharing a dish with me . Paid between $15-21 per plate but portion couldn’t even feed my 13 year old daughter who’s 13 and weight 75 lbs. I looked at dish and knew that I was gonna be hungry. The flavor wasn’t bad but the portion was tiny. Wish I had taken pictures to prove that the portion is unusual extra small. Went to talk to hostess but they insisted that they measured all their dishes. Not true! Walk by a few tables and by the look of their entrees were a good portion. Unlike ours. Never going there. My sister rave about supporting Hmong own businesses especially how generous King Thai. I will never go again. Anyone asking for my opinion will always get my negative input. They are in denial and won’t take critique to improve their business. They told me that no one has ever complained about their portions. I wasn’t the only one in my party thinking that it was ridiculous portions.
Egg rolls and cream cheese wontons were average at best
The deluxe pad thia was way to sweet. No one could get past 2 bites.
My 9 year old liked her sesame chicken
The Basil Bai Ka Pao was okay.
My spicy noodles were okay too.
All in all it was okay
The space was huge
Good vibes
Upon entering, we were greeted and seated fairly quickly. They came and brought us waters and got our orders and food but after that, we never saw them again. Service was 50/50.
Nab Vam: 5/5, so good!
Pad Thai: 3/5, it was okay.
Pho: 3/5, it was alright.
Overall, their menu is too broad and if they took it down to just some main food, I’m sure it’ll be great tasting but other than that, I don’t know if I would come back.
My fav dish in order:
1: wontons & thai tea (not pictured)
2: Papaya salad
3: fried rice
4: basil pad ka pao
5: catfish laab (only bc I’m not a fan of fish but my boyfriend thought it was decent)
