Very fast and very fulfilling, I ordered 4 tacos Al pastor, asada, lengua, and chicharrón. While the asada was hands down the best the others were good too. Lot of protein and very genourous with a double shell. Also got a sopes and it was delicious.

Every time we come down from Sacramento to LA we always stop by this restaurant. Its my wife’s favorite place to come.

It’s not just this location—I’ve noticed that all King Taco locations have been serving really low-quality carne asada lately. What I end up getting tastes more like tripa or some other kind of mystery meat, with way more fat than actual meat. It’s extremely disappointing, especially since King Taco used to be one of my go-to spots. Sadly, I won’t be coming back again. From now on, I’ll be going to El Picosito on Duarte instead—they have amazing burritos, and their asada is on a whole different level. So, no more King Taco for me. I’m done plus the salsa now tastes like a bottle salsa like Valentina.

FIVE STARS FOR THIS PLACE!!!! i love Mexican food, and they make authentic Mexican food. i always get the all meat burrito because i love to eat meat. so when i get regular, i think they put too many beans and rice, so i dislike it. i rather get all meat because they make good Asada meat and the hot sauce there is fantastic too because it is spicy how i like it. i haven’t tried the tacos, but the burrito is the way to go if you want your money worth. This store has good service too because when i asked for more lime, they are very nice about it.

El Monte #11: Food was cold, not even warm. Burrito, tacos and nachos, was a waste of my $35.00. The place doesn’t even smell like they are cooking. So far, Baldwin Park hasn’t disappointed. King Taco is a treat for us and this visit was a fail.

I’ve been a loyal customer at King Taco for a while now, but I’ve noticed that the portion sizes seem to be getting smaller while the prices keep increasing. For example, the All-Meat carne asada burrito I ordered was much smaller than it used to be, especially considering the price. However, I did enjoy the carne asada nachos.

Feb 2021 – 3 stars

This place is hit and Miss, and today was a miss. Tacos hardly had any meat and they forgot my buddies onions and cilantro on the side. The food was tasty, but our burritos were falling apart and hard to eat in our car since there are no tables outside and of course, no eating inside. The kicker was they charged $1.75 for two small cups of extra salsa. I was happy to pay, but that seems excessive for two small cups.

It’s King Taco. Consistently good. The variables are how much meat you get, service and how much extra salsa which goes back to service. On this trip, food was awesome. Lots of meat and they were not tight on the extra salsa. I am always ready to pay extra, but this time the cook looked around, made sure no supervisor and gave me 8 cups of liquid gold. It’s weird leaving a tip these days since they have to be careful about what they touch, but she smiled when I left it on the counter and that’s enough for me. I’ll be back.

Great tasting food, price range is adequate. As of Nov. 2024, got me some pastor tacos and as I looked at them, I wondered like the old commercial in the 80’s. Where’s the beef?!?!) After removing the onion, thats all the meat that was served on the taco.

King Taco is one my favorite Los Angeles taco places. Yes it csn be expensive and may take a few things ordered to get full, yes, but their food is delicious and I often desire more King Taco than any other fast food restaurant food. I enjoy their carne asada’s combination burritos, sopas, and their carne asada tacos with montery jack cheese, green salsa and Pina drinks. I know it can be a bit embarrassing but I save my cups after once use and pay foe refill next time I come to save few bucks. I can respect where it’s at is their Mexican cheese, other other plates. Their bathrooms are always vacant after eating to wash my hands, and I appreciate their service is usually pretty fast despite they may be pretty busy. Recommend King Taco if you haven’t tried at least once.

Great food as usual, addictive Red Hot sauce! Price steadily goes up like everything else, so I can’t come as often. Sad ☹️.
