King Taco # 2: Authentic Mexican Cuisine in Los Angeles
Reviews
The vibe is authentic, fast-paced, and exactly what you want from a legendary LA taco spot. Everyone was there for the same reason — great food. The crowd was friendly, the energy was good, and it’s the kind of place that reminds you why Los Angeles is famous for incredible Mexican food.
As the owner of BLING EM RIM REPAIR, a mobile rim repair and wheel repair company that frequently services customers throughout Los Angeles and Southern California, my crew and I are constantly on the move fixing curb rash and damaged wheels at homes, dealerships, tire shops, and body shops. After a long day of mobile wheel repair in LA, this is one of our go-to spots to refuel.
If you’re searching for some of the best tacos in Los Angeles or an authentic Mexican food experience, King Taco #2 should absolutely be on your list. Great food, fast service, and well worth the stop every time.
The interior dining area was pretty empty, which was nice since we didn’t feel rushed. We also noticed a stand outside with a vendor selling churros and funnel cake, nice little bonus if you’ve got a sweet tooth.
As always, the food hit the spot. Perfect for a late-night craving, curing the munchies, or bouncing back from a night of drinks. King Taco never disappoints after a night out!
Food
Asada burrito. Refried beans rice meat. The beans were really good. Rice was fine and the asada tasted like pretty good quality. It had a pleasant limey taste to it. The green salsa tastes really good. Id say it was the highlight to the burrito. The burrito itself was decent
Al pastor tacos. The meat was bigger chunked. Felt the quality was good and my friends love it but idk I felt it was almost too sweet tasting?
Overall I wasnt too impressed. Wouldn’t go out of my way. Everything was good though but I think its just me and my palate are different maybe
