This was unfortunately a disappointing experience. I wasn’t able to eat the meal and had to throw it out. I used to order from King of Pigs years ago and always enjoyed the food and service, so this was surprising.
This time, everything was very greasy and oily, and the chicken didn’t taste fresh — it didn’t seem like it had been cooked the same day. The piri piri flavour was also very different from what I remember. I had requested piri piri sauce on the side, and the note included felt a bit unnecessary; a courtesy sauce with a reminder that it can be ordered through the app next time would have been appreciated.
Additionally, the box was quite soggy and didn’t hold together when lifting or moving it.
I’m not sure what’s changed, but unfortunately this experience means I won’t be ordering delivery again.

My family absolutely loves king of the pigs, The people are always friendly. The food is absolutely Amazing and the sauce for the chicken is the best! The restaurant is always a vibe. Everybody is friendly. The atmosphere is fun And laid back. It is a great choice for any occasion or just a dinner out.

I placed a take-out online order today, and everything went on pretty well like I expected. Went there and my order was ready, no need to wait. Delicious ribs were still very warm back home, this way is better.

First visit today, overall an satisfying dinner. Ordered a Combo Set with Chicken and Pork Side Ribs, paid an extra $3 for another side (fries and salads). The service was friendly and efficient, during an off-peak period. I got all my foods within 10 minutes after placing my order.
The price levels are there, so as the portion size. Considering the Portuguese Bun, this Combo Set is definitely not designed for a single person. I did finish them all at the end myself, but slightly too much. I would say every single item was good, crispy seasoned fries and fresh salads. But the mains could get better: Some parts of the ribs were already lukewarm when I got them, had to finish them quickly otherwise cold ribs soon; Tender chicken but some parts were still a bit dry. Maybe a little bit picky, but if the ribs get the temperature of the chicken and the chicken gets the tenderness of the ribs, then almost perfect.
Although you can place online orders for mains only without bread or sides, this option is not available on the menu if dining in. Next time, I will go for online orders.

Just moved back to London after 19 years….Rei Dos Leitos (King of the Pigs) was always a favourite. We took out chicken, side ribs, salad, fries and black olives for 4 people, after ordering on line for the Cherryhill location. Food was plentiful with leftovers and was delicious. The service from the staff was exceptional. Will be repeating often.

We ordered a large amount of food for take out. It was like a home cooked meal. Quality was spot on. The staff were clearly working extremely hard looking after the eat-in guests and the constant flow of take-out orders. The potatoes and ribs were great. Friendly staff. This was my first trip in and will not be my last.

This was our first time having King of the Pigs and we were so happy with our choice. We wanted something other than pizza for our sons birthday and it was a hit. We got the pulled pork, buns, fries, rice, and chicken wings and everything was delicious. Can’t wait to order again 🙂

This place is usually FANTASTIC. Been ordering for years on pretty much every occasion, but recently we’ve had to switch to the hamilton rd location due to how hit or miss this one is becoming. We ordered a chicken last night and it was extremely old tasting, the skin on the legs were very hard/thick, and the seasoning was way off and extremely vinegary with an older aged chicken taste (like the ones only used for soup). When comparing to the previous order last week from Hamilton rd its like it’s from a completely different establishment!!:(

Used to love their food but the $90 pickup order we got today was beyond unacceptable. Dry, bland chicken and rice, frozen fries, chicken tenders, and potatoes. Custard tart was okay but even that was obviously not fresh (watched the server pull them out of a Tupperware and not off the fresh tray).
This used to be a favourite of ours but we won’t ever be back.

I have ordered King of Pigs from the Cherry Hill Mall Location several times and always picked up my order got home it was always hot and delicious. I ordered delivery for the first time and the bill was $200.+ including delivery and tip which I pre-ordered 36 hours ahead of time as well confirmed order by phone that it was received to ensure . I have never been so disappointed as my order was over 20min late and when received by the delivery company the driver was quick to blame the restuarant , my food was cold and everything had to be reheated.
Very Dissapointing if I wanted to use the oven and take the time I would have cooked myself.
