I love Fernando’s. The other night I had one of My favorite dishes: Fajita Poblano with Steak. They also have these Big Tacos (can’t remember the exact name) that have Big Deep Fried Soft Tortilla Shells (so they’re kinda crispy and soft) and they’re delicious too. My kids Love their Tortuga Avocado with Shrimp.

There is a language barrier. Didn’t get what I ordered over the phone. But I was charged accordingly and what I received was great! Hot and fresh! Largest taco I’ve seen. Beans were hot. Rice not over cooked. Very affordable. Shredded beef was plentiful. I couldn’t finish both tacos. The chips come seasoned. Salsa is fresh and great also. Will have to dine inside next time. Messy eat.

My husband and I went to Fernando’s in Pearl, we both ordered the Triple Duty Tacos. Those tacos were so salty that we couldn’t eat them. We informed the waiter that they were salty but his response was, “oh sorry”. Oh okay!!!! We asked for the ticket, paid it and left. That was very poor service and the food was awful!!!!!

Whoever’s cleaning and busting their tables needs to be taught how to actually clean the area. The table we sat down at had not been wiped down so about 15 minutes in a young boy came and just basically rubbed all the same dirt all over the whole table. Took some paper towels and wipe it down with the water from my drink and it’s still as disgusting as before. I hate to see how the kitchen looks

Fernandos is a legacy eatery. He still produces a tasty meal at a reasonable price. He has not applied for a liquor license here, and I missed a frio cerveza. so have a margarita at home and with a dd, have dinner here. Well worth the effort.

I called my order in they where nice but I feel because Im a beautiful black women i got treated differently when i went into the store. I wasn’t greeted but the customers behind me got greeted with a big smile and then the lady who rung me out slammed my receipt on the table like she didn’t want to hand it to me . So i left it on the table .Then she handed the customers behind me there food ( yes they where Caucasian)and told me to grab mine off the table. It was really giving racist vibes. I will not be coming back my money green just as well as there’s.

I got the Nachos Time with shredded chicken. It was different from what I thought. I thought I was getting regular tortilla chips however they were floured chips. So that was a surprise for me. The nachos were okay, knowing what I know now; I’ll order something else.
