My wife and I have been going here for years. I love the food, not only is it great, but so is the service. Tonight I am leaving a review just because I was impressed with the takeout order packaging. I took a turn a little too hard and my bag completely turned over and fell off my seat in my car, I was worried that my meal had spilled and been ruined, but nope, everything stayed sealed and put together, I was thrilled. Anyway, go and eat here, you won’t regret it.

I absolutely loved visiting here. It’s a small restaurant with limited seating but good food! They also offer gluten free noodles and vegetarian dishes!! I had the fried shrimp udon and it was delicious!!

As far as taste, this place is the absolutely best in Spokane area. I literally crave it all the time because it’s just that good. Great service too!
I would love to see this place flourish and move into a better space someday to help enhance the experience. Right now it’s a little open and gets a bit loud with people and (specifically kids) so it’s not the best date place for a quiet dinner.

The secret lies in their spice ball+ broth. Overall a good experience – generous food portions, hot ramen, extremely quick service and decent ambience. We had Vegetarian curry rice, vegetarian ramen and spicy Pork chashu Ramen (I mean it! It was ) I added a bit of the spicy broth to my vegetarian flare and then it turned out perfect!
We ended our dinner with Green tea waffle icecream – ice-cream one side coated with dark chocolate and wrapped entirely inside a thin waffle coat.

I came in for the first time on a busy night, but I was still served very quickly. I got their vegetable miso ramen (I didn’t realize they had a spicy version, so I will definitely be back to try that as well!) and it was delicious!! I also had their hot Hokkaido milk tea, since it was a cold rainy night. The combo of the two was perfect.

We just ordered this tonight based on the reviews. The food is horrible. My wife’s ‘s Tonkatsu smelled rancid. She couldn’t eat it. It then made me concerned that something’s wrong so I couldn’t eat the spicy tonkatsu. We also ordered the chicken curry which I didn’t realize is fried chicken. And it also has a bad smell like the oil is bad. We’ve thrown everything away. Complete waste of 70 bucks.

Best Ramen by far in entire Washington and Idaho. Authentic Japanese Ramen and food!
You’ll know its Authentic when you see old Japanese people eating there.

I came to this establishment for the 1st time ever. I didnt know what to expect as far as flavor. I got the vegetable miso soup. I will say next time if I order this dish again I will ask to hold the garlic and ginger if im able to. I was not prepared for the garlic and ginger, which put me off. But I know it’s what I needed to help me get over a head cold. I just cant order this again if it comes with an excessive amount of the garlic and ginger. It took the vegetable broth taste away. Which I was hoping for.

The BEST restaurant in Spokane. The staff is mostly family, they know their regulars, and the food is extremely consistent. You would be a fool to skip out on some Spicy Tonkatsu or Karage chicken! 10/10 , we will continue to come here for another 5 years.

We are in Spokane for a volleyball tourney and wanted to carbo load before the games tomorrow. We were excited to find the King of Ramen! It is a cute little hole in the walk. They have cozy seating inside. The food was pretty good, but not the best we’ve ever had. We ordered the shrimp tempura that really wasn’t good. It had too much batter and not a lot of taste. I had the spicy ramen and my daughter had the Tonkotsu Ramen. Both had a bit too much garlic for us. The noodles were good, but the broth was a bit heavy. A solid 3 stars for us.
