I ordered chicken biryani for takeout, and it was absolutely delicious! The flavors were rich and authentic, with perfectly cooked rice and tender chicken. The portion size was generous and well worth the price. The staff was friendly and made sure my order was ready on time. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more dishes. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving flavorful Indian cuisine!

I had a really disappointing experience with the food. The halwa puri was honestly one of the worst I’ve had cold oily and just not fresh at all. The chana chaat was no better completely lacking flavor and tasted stale I even told them to make it again, hoping they’d fix it, but unfortunately, the second round wasn’t any better. It’s frustrating when you spend your money and expect at least decent food, but this just wasn’t it. Definitely not worth it and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone unless they seriously improve their food quality.

For a fair and honest review, I will leave out ambiance. Let’s concentrate on the food. Ordered samosas, naan, charga (whole chicken), gosht (goat) karahi, and of course kebabs. Samosa were fine but could have been crispier. Naan were made well, not chunkier or uneven, not too thin or thick. The charga was cooked very well, moist and tasty, the masala could have been a little better though. Goat karahi was also made well, the curry was tasty and good even mix made of spices; couple of more pieces per order wouldn’t hurt but I guess due to rising food cost, it’s appropriate. Kebabs were my favorite out of all, the freshness, the moistness and succulence and aroma were just great.

Overall, good food and the guy serving us was nice as well. I definitely recommend!

WISH I COULD GIVE NO STARS!! WASTE OF MONEY!!! Ordered the tikka masala chicken and was utterly shocked at the portion size for the price. $18 for a Dixie bowl serving is ridiculous!!! Tried to return the food due to the portion being super small and were told that we couldn’t receive our money back because it was made ‘fresh’ for us. A worker called another worker out to back him up and lied and said he was the manager which we knew was not true. We were asked ‘what did we expect’ in which we answered a larger portion due to us having visited another Pakistani restaurant the day before and the portion size was enough for two people to share including rice for a cheaper price. We were then offered an order of rice to compensate for the price since we weren’t getting a refund. This is the amount of rice that was given….. In the process of the “manager” preparing the rice the original worker made a statement of “I understand you being frustrated about the portion size and you’re not wrong but he’s (the owner) not wrong either” (It’s clear the worker was a family member/friend of the owner due to him sharing the same language as the owner when he called him regarding the complaint about the portion size and his demeanor regarding us complaining). After trying to explain his reason for his comment to my bf he followed up with “this is why the owner needs to be here so I don’t have to deal with stuff like this” in which they then slipped up and said the owner was sitting in the back of the store. We didn’t eat the rice due to feeling it may have been tampered with due to the energy of the worker. Don’t waste your time in this place. It needs to be closed ASAP! Go to the crown fried chicken up the street for larger portions and a cheaper price of authentic Pakistani dishes and REAL customer service!

I ordered Alak Paneer and Garlic Naan. Excellent dishes. Service was great. Tariq provided hot sauce, white sauce, and chicken gizzards. All three were great accompaniments. Would come back.

We went to eat for lunch and we’re the only customer in the restaurant. We ordered the chicken tikka masala and it was too spicy for what we usually get from other Indian restaurants. The biryani chicken is ok. When I was paying for our meal, the old guy changed the price of the vegetable samosa from what was in the menu. When I questioned him why the change, he said because of new management. They also charged 3% surcharge for credit card use. Well, I won’t be eating back in this restaurant.

I had a best experience there. I see Reviews and I still went there and a lot of people are very picky and they still choose to go to the restaurant but to me everything was amazing atmosphere was great Very polite staff And they deliver and which I don’t get, I do wanna say one thing here these people work very hard and some people don’t like certain flavors they make up all this tragic words and make it seem like like the rest was the worst place they ever been which half of the time 90% Of the time

*WARNING*
We went here because of the Yelp reviews originally but I’d honestly rate it 0 stars.

I was taken aback that all the food behind the display case wasn’t heated which is why they were microwaving all dishes! I’m not sure how safe it is to consume bacteria growing food.

I ordered a sampler of sweets. When I got back to my hotel and opened the sweets box, I was shocked the owner gave me about 3/4 lb of rancid sweets.

UPDATE: When I returned the 2nd time, I asked if they were still serving cold microwaved food with 2 tiny pieces of chicken in a chicken dish and the owner remembered yelled out, “Oh I remember you! You wrote a 1 star review!” (which was an honest review) and therefore refused to serve me!

Wow… instead of actually changing his policies, he got mad at customers for expecting sanitary and safe food practices!

PS – The reviews of people that have only ever written 1 review, that claim 5* are probably fake just to boost the score. Look at the reviews of real Reviewers (Local Guides) that typically are between 1-3 stars only.

Oh my goodness I was very pleased it was so good! Matter of fact if you want to make a baby come here to grab a tasty treat lol. I went on Labor Day weekend. I came too Atlantic City to drop a passenger off from the Clementon area and knew that this place was the place to grab something delicious. $11 not bad at all!
