was trying different bars in kc and found this one it was really nice kind of dressy but the service was good and our server was very friendly and helped us with their drink selection it was very good. they also serve food but we did eat there.

I’ve been to King G’s Bar multiple times, I’m a big fan of getting their warmed sandwiches as they are comforting and consistently good, and the cocktails are always high quality and well-made.
It’s a great place to meet up with friends when you want something easy but delicious. The vibe is relaxed, perfect for hanging out, catching up, and having a couple of drinks without feeling rushed or crowded.

I’ve only been to the bar and service suffered a bit because it was so packed, this is probably the hottest spot in KC as far as the bar goes currently, hand down. But, I want to review the deli, because it’s absolute fire, granted I only get the pastrami on rye, for sure the best I’ve found in this city, I only know a couple places in this whole country that are better, but King G’s has better mustard by far than both of those places, so glad you guys are here, what a great place!

Great vibes, good drinks iffy service. I had some seriously amazing cocktails. We had the banana stand and the fearless John both were top notch. The Italian sub also so so tasty! But I did intend to have a second beverage but couldn’t get the attention of staff to get another drink for over 30 min and it’s not very busy!

– Please see edit below – Sitting here on a Saturday at 1pm waiting over 40 minutes for a sandwich. All the staff can say is “it’s really busy”. In fairness they did offer to refund me but I declined as my sandwich was ready at the same time.
*Edit* – Management reached out to me and expressed genuine concern for my experience and a willingness to make it right. I do believe that they were caught a bit unaware as there was a pet shelter event happening that day that would have thrown off the scheduling for what would normally be a relatively slow paced afternoon. Food was good and the atmosphere was pleasant. The U shaped bar is interesting and allows for plenty of room to order and mingle. Lots of seats and small tables for groups, clean and the clientele seemed to be enjoying themselves. I no longer drink alcohol but if I did, I would definitely come back here to check out the night scene.

Great spot in the crossroads. Great atmosphere and energy. The cocktails are very tasty. The Paloma is ultra refreshing. The sandwiches are good and the portions are pretty big. The staff is ultra helpful and is great at answering questions. Nice trendy place to meet up.

Very cool location with friendly bartenders, definitely has a great vibe, with a nice list of good beers on tap or bottle. It was a perfect time to walk in around sunset to enjoy a beer and have Pastrami on Rye from deli next door. Just order at the bar and they’ll bring it out to you.

How is a turkey sandwich this good? It truly doesn’t mac sense. Don’t sleep on the potato salad either. The bar side is legit too, but I’m just a little too old to be there very late.
