I was visiting Charleston and decided to try this place out since I love seafood and seafood boils especially. We went on a Friday evening and it was very busy yet, we were able to get seated immediately. Our server was absolutely great, she was so attentive and kind. We got an order of hush puppies as an appetizer and they were still frozen inside so we asked our server if we could get them warmed up a bit more, she apologized and didn’t hesitate to go back and get us some new ones that were cooked all the way. I ordered a boil with snow crab, shrimp, sausage and potatoes. It was delightful, so full of flavor and plenty of food! My husband ordered a fried cats fish platter with Cajun fries. The fish was a bit soggy for it being “fried”, but the seasoning was good. We ended up ordering a slice of red velvet cake for dessert which was okay. Overall, we had a good experience. The atmosphere was great and service was excellent!

This was our first time trying ‘low country boil’ and it was absolutely delicious. We got the Sailors Boil in King claw special in hot With side of Cajun fries, perfect for 2 adults. Our wait staff was absolutely amazing and guided us in ordering, especially for our kids; who previously have not been able to enjoy boils because they’re too spicy. She even got us smaller gloves for the kids and they loved putting on the bibs and gloves to eat. The kids were thoroughly entertained with crayons to draw on the paper on our table while waiting for food!

Me and my boyfriend stopped here on our way home from vacation and it was a WONDERFUL experience. The food was excellent and our waitress Robyn, she was phenomenal. She was so polite and SOOO sweet!!! She absolutely made our day. She made us feel comfortable and let us know she is taking care of us. She is a wonderful person and server. Even though she was slammed, she constantly checked on us and made sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere is amazing, the people are amazing and the food is amazing as well. 1000% recommend this restaurant.

Seated as soon as my Girlfriend and I walked in, super nice hosts, menu very descriptive and detailed! Our Server Robyn, absolutely Amazing!!! I can say with 100% Certainty that she is the best server I’ve had in my lifetime!! So sweet! She’s super helpful and just gives you that comfort feeling like you’re actually cared about and so helpful with our food and very personable!!! We will be definitely coming back here and we will also be requesting Robyn for our server!! This was our last stop before heading home and we couldn’t think of a better ending to our trip!! Food was absolutely amazing!!! It came out very timely and so flavorful and cooked to perfection!!! Service was 10/10!! No improvement required because it was just perfect!!!! King Claw is an amazing place if not the best to come and eat and enjoy food and just enjoy your time here!! Thank you to Robyn for being so sweet and making us laugh and taking the time to talk to us!! Our trip ended the best way it could have because of your excellent service! Robin was AMAZING! She was so hospitable! We were originally sat at a two person table and she moved us to a bigger table without us asking so we had more room when our food came. She was so nice and accommodating! The food was great and the overall experience was fantastic! Would definitely come back for some great seafood!
