I REALLY had high hopes for this place but the food is subpar, usually over cooked, and the one time I when into the restaurant and got the buffet to go the food was old like it had been out for several hours. Dried stiff and disgusting so much so they cooked whatever we wanted, that was my first impression of the place but it was late and we tried to understanding. So we ordered take out the second time. Fresh cooked food that was reasonably good. But tonight the the sesame chicken was made with spoiled chicken, my kids pineapple chick or whatever they call it had bones in it. Which was for my toddlers. My chow mi fun was not made right, They didnt even send the large rice I paid for. Its awful. We paid over $50 and have some greenbeans and stupid fortune cookies.
I tired to call since im not able to get back out tonight to talk to them face to face. And they will be closed soon. No one will answer the phone.
So it looks like I will be up there in the morning returning their “food”

So honestly, 10 yrs ago this was probably some of the best food in Shelbyville. My son and I ate there recently and the food was disgusting to the point it was inedible. My son was treated to 4 days of food poisoning from the chicken so that was a blast. I will never eat there again I’m sad to say and I would suggest for your health you do the same. It does not deserve 1 star.

This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. The staff were rude and dismissive from the moment we walked in. The food was cold, hard, and tasted like it had been sitting out for hours. There were flies all over the buffet area — completely unacceptable and unsanitary. The place felt dirty and unwelcoming. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Save your money and go somewhere that actually cares about cleanliness and customer service.

The ladies we encountered while we were there were friendly. There were a lot more options than I thought there would be, which was nice.
They have oysters on ice as well.
Some of the food was in the warmer too long and affected the texture negatively.

Some foods were cold and tough to eat. The servers were very good and pleasant. There was a large group of handicapped adults so it was a bit noisy.

Overall decent experience but I couldn’t really read the receipt and it looks like I was charged an extra couple dollars. Total is $19.44. Buffet is $13.75. The total minus what looks like “tax” is $18. 18-13.75 is $4.25, which is not what the price of the drink is.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. This food is flavorless and under cooked. I would not recommend getting anything from here. I’m missing things from the combo I ordered, also asked for fried rice and got vegetable fried rice. As stated above the food is disgusting. It’s my first time trying this and I regret ever going here. I will be calling in the morning for a refund or a remake if they do better I will change my review but I’d rather eat dry cereal.
