Really good. Maybe a little on the expensive side, but I’d recommend trying this place out once or twice in spite of that.
The only bad thing I can think of is their hours of operation: 10-5 is a little tight and they are only open on weekdays.

Kinfolk BBQ is a local hotspot for great and cheap BBQ. Walking in gives you that classic BBQ shop feel, they embrace being a local BBQ place and keep it really simple and very very reasonably priced. They sell by the pound and have great desserts. Over the years I’ve eaten here many many times. I recommend this place to anyone stopping in the area for just quality BBQ. The service was fantastic and they kept checking on me for updates and even offer a to-go drink on the way out. Perfect southern hospitality.

I always heard good things about Kinfolks BBQ. However, I’ve never been here before so I decided to take my family with me to get our first experience together. And boy did we get a phenomenal first experience! We arrived here as party of five (2 adults and 3 children). While we always love eating good food we weren’t particularly hungry when we arrived here that day. So we thought we will try their something simple and straightforward just to get an idea of their food. So we ordered a family platter (which according to the menu it should able to feed 4 people). It came with a half-chicken, brisket and as a side with got some coleslaw, white bread and French fries. Long story short that plate only made us more hungrier because of how delicious it was and we ended up ordering even more brisket in the end. Food was off the charts in terms of taste. It was very tasty and flavorful. My daughter (8 years old) even said that we should come here every day (!). She doesn’t always say that. And that should tell something about the food here. Oh by the way, the staff treated us like family. They were super friendly, welcoming and showed that authentic southern hospitality! And the prices were very reasonable too. Overall we had an absolutely great time. We most definitely will be coming back here again.

Randomly decided to look up a local BBQ place for lunch and Kinfolk’s was on the way so we decided to get some take out. Walked in and immediately changed our mind and we had to stay to eat because we could see the owner smoking all of the meats and our mouths just starting watering. Some of the best BBQ we have had in a while, prices were fantastic, and our waitress (Valerie I think) was super knowledgeable and excellent! Not a fancy joint but absolutely perfect for families and whoever wants a more casual dining experience. Ended up taking more food to go and we were so full we had to be rolled out, definitely a go again location!

Right when you walk in the smoked bbq smell smacks you right in the face. The restaurant has that home cooked sitting
at grandpa and grandmas farmhouse kinda feel to it. I ordered the bbq chicken salad and had to take half of it home with me. If you’re not a huge eater, it could be shared with another not huge eater. Very nice, I will visit again 🙂

I have been here twice and left both times with thoughts about their amazingly juicy meat sandwiches, sweet-as mommas jam-tea, and the sides. The sides could be meals all alone with how much flavor they have.
I arrived right when they opened one day and sat alone eating lunch. It felt like I was back home in the only restaurant the forest had, where the whole family works there, or at least they act like family. Kinfolks really feels like home And tastes even better. Get the stew!

Fresh cooked on the indoor fire grill ! trick here is that “sliced” is what I would call chipped, and “chipped” is what I would call shredded. Good food, good portions, good price, friendly staff, what more do you need? Go there, it’s well worth it !!! They have been here forever, because they do it right ! Ps if you have a dog, they sometimes give out bones if you ask.

Ate here for lunch yesterday with a party of 4 while in the area for a conference. Had never been, but it was recommended. Had a great first experience. Ordered the chicken/beef combo plate with the beans and Brunswick stew. All was excellent (though the brisket was a tad dry due to it being what appeared to be a lean cut). Service was excellent and friendly. The sides of baked beans (really excellent) and Brunswick stew (very good) were great additions to the meal. Recommended.

Just tried this place for the first time got a hot dog with chili cheese onion and Brunswick stew both delicious and super yummy!!
Just to update went again and tried the sausage dog and it was delicious too this place has amazing food great service and it smells so good inside can’t believe I haven’t tried this place before last week well worth it locals know what’s up with this place took my co worker and he said it was DELICIOUS
