Kindred Fare was a solid dining experience and one of the better spots we dined at during our time in the Finger Lakes. We tried their Monday tasting menu, which offered a neat variety of local options beyond the normal menu. While I didn’t love each dish on the tasting menu, overall the options were tasty and very fresh. The desserts and appetizers were particularly great. We sat at the bar and service was congenial and attentive. Would come back!

My husband and I enjoyed this farm to table restaurant immensely. It was conveniently located next to our hotel. The service was impeccable with our server, Justin, willing to answer our questions on the menu and giving us a handwritten list of local recommendations. The atmosphere was lovely with an open kitchen and a cozy, modern farmhouse vibe. There was a great selection of local brews, wines, cocktails and non-alcoholic craft beverages. We ordered some delicious local ciders, a cheese platter, calamari, and the duck entrée. All of the food, down to their homemade bread, was truly excellent and memorable. The duck was prepared perfectly and the mushrooms and gnocchi vied for the spotlight. We would recommend this place highly and hope to return next time we’re in the Finger Lakes.

Wouldn’t be lying if we said that we’ve had the best meal at Kindred Fare in the Finger Lakes area. We were visiting and ate out every meal of the 4 days, so it says a lot about how tasty the foods were. Friendly staff, our waitress Mary rocked. The halibut and pork chop were well seasoned and cooked to perfection. The veggies and side on the main dishes are locally sourced and yummy. It’s impressive to say that looking back at the pictures and posting this review involving such a delicious memory of the meal. Highly recommended and will come back again.

I am updating my rating to 5 stars as I gave Kindred Fare a second try. The Honey Hot Cauliflower Wings are still fantastic, and the steak was excellent. The restaurant does a great job of mixing flavors to provide a unique experience.

Liked the new twist on the Moscow Mule drink, Rainwater Cup. The Buffalo Cauliflower app, Poutine fries, Curry tofu and Pork Belly dishes were excellent. Loved the trendy atmosphere and friendly staff. Highly recommend!

We drove down from Rochester for an early Valentine’s Day dinner and enjoyed a delicious meal here. Every dish was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The fried cod special and the calamari were very fresh and possibly the best we’ve had. The drink menu is well-rounded with something for everyone (love that they have NA options) and the desserts were amazing! Attentive and professional service. Well worth the 50 minute drive. We will be back!

Great space, great food, great service and attention to detail. First place we’ve been that actually read our requests prior to arrival and acknowledged them at the door and again at the table. Just outstanding.

We got the tasting menu with wine pairing. The food was very good and the wine pairings were excellent. Sadly, the pairing for the main course did not arrive until the food was half gone and somewhat cool, since we did try to wait for the pairing. Overall a good value and fun food.

We had a delightful cheese plate with fabulous made in house focaccia, mustard, and pickled veggies. Then we indulged with the Monday night prix fixe menu with wine pairings. The gazpacho was light and tasty. The mushroom pasta was glorious! The olive oil cake trifle was a great ending to the best meal of our vacation. Vanessa and the other wait staff were professional, friendly, and efficient. The only minor issue was the ambient lighting was too dim for my liking. Kudos to Chef Max!
