Finally got to try the outdoor grilling at Kimuraya Baniyas Branch, and it was such a nice experience. Reservation is needed, but it’s definitely worth it. The ambience is cozy with a real Japanese feel, and dining outdoors in the cool weather made it even better.
We enjoyed the Unlimited A5 Japanese Wagyu Special, and everything was delicious and high quality. Our server, Irish, was very friendly and accommodating, always checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Overall, great food, great service, and a lovely dining experience. Highly recommended!

We had a very good dinner on a Sunday night. We had lots of salmon nigiri, shrimp tempura and the spicy endamame. And chicken and beef gyoza. One of our servers was Princess and she was very friendly and polite the whole time. One thing I noticed was the whole staff was running up and down, might be a good idea to add more staff especially during weekends. But overall it was awesome.

After the concert, we headed straight to Kimuraya at the Sheraton branch—our trusted post-event spot and once again, they didn’t disappoint. The food was absolutely worth it, as always. It’s our go-to restaurant every time we have an event, and it never fails us.

We recently dined at Kimuraya Japanese Restaurant @Sheraton Creek and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Every dish showcased fresh ingredients, refined technique, and a genuine respect for Japanese culinary tradition.
The beef was the star of the day—
tempura was a standout for its light, crisp batter.
The sushi and sashimi were impressively fresh, with a clean taste that reflects high-quality fish. The sashimi slices were generous, while the sushi was expertly crafted with perfectly seasoned rice. Each piece felt balanced, elegant, and truly satisfying.

Had a reservation for tonight’s valentine’s dinner, expecting to at least dine outside the restaurant to experience the grill, but apparently the outside was “fully booked” as they said. But when we saw it, there was a lot of tables that has not been occupied. I expected we can eat outside since there was no option on their reversations to choose wether to eat inside or at outside of the restaurant. We requested if we can eat outside to experience the grilling since we’re not gonna stay too long but they still did not give us any consideration. So we decided to eat inside and we ordered their unlimited just not to be disappointed our dinner. Then we ordered unlimited beef in two different prices to check wether there is a difference. But there was none, it feels like they served us the cheapest one and did not served the other beef we chose as well. Even it’s unlimited, we had just eaten at least 2 rounds of grilled beef due to poor and delay service. We understood that there’s a lot of customer, but it should be anticipated already. But still the food was given late and as observed to other tables as well several customers have been waiting longer than us to serve their food. And ultimately disappointing moment when the only food that I waited long, the tamago that supposed to be my appetizer was served as my last food, and was disgustingly served. The egg was not freshly cooked not even heated to looked like one. The inside is already darkening which is very concerning since I do not know if it was cooked yesterday, thus my appetite has been ruined. I expected that the restaurant will be the same as it was rated here but apparently it’s not.

If you’re looking for a strong Japanese dining option in Dubai with good authenticity specially for wagyu , hot-pot, or BBQ and like the idea of a more expansive menu than just sushi, Kimura-ya at Creek is a good choice. The key strengths are affordable but excellent meat quality and a japanese vibe atmosphere. Kudos to Irish for friendly service
