I always say if the food is mediocre but the service is awesome most likely ill be back. But if the service is terrible even though there food is amazinga I will definitely never go back. Unfortunately, I had a bit of a communication challenge with the staff. When I asked about a brown ingredient in the sticky rice, the guy said “I don’t know” and suggested it might only appeal to Vietnamese people. Hmm ok…I’ll try it.
The sticky rice turned out bland (meant to be sweet) tbh. And the brown thing was a dried fruit of some kind.
Have to say the prices are a bit on the high side for what you get, but I understand they’re a local business, and I thought it was worth trying once.

We enjoyed the food! You can do take out or eat in. Much of the food is labeled only in Vietnamese but the nice cashier helped us pick out a duck soup (lots of duck and veggies) and a bahn mi sandwich and then explained how to use the sauce with the soup. This place has different dishes than your standard Vietnamese place, great to try something new

First time visiting Kim Thao’s Bakery and Foods with my son. Really cool place with a hot food bar and lots of tasty options. We tried the citronella tea with fresh sugar cane – perfect flavor, not too sweet. The lady was super friendly and helpful, answered my questions and suggested some great dishes. They also offer egg roll trays and catering, which is nice. We’ll be back!

Some days are a hit and miss. I like to come and try something new each visit instead of getting my usuals at other Vietnamese restaurants. I feel like the prices seem to change based on who’s there at the register but yes , I agree with a lot of people in their reviews that this place is pretty pricey. At one point I was extremely thirsty and didn’t want to pay for their soft drinks at the refrigerator section so I chose their teas at the front register and was told it was $6.45. Thankfully it wasn’t that bad tasting but I will admit that I’ve spent cheaper at boba shops. One plus side that I really appreciate is that I let my son let get all of his energy out at the booths; sometimes he throws a fit. The music is so loud and the ladies at the front don’t seem to care of him crying. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ on kid friendliness

This place has the best Banh Mi ever, as well as other delicious dishes! They also provide the best customer service! The owner is so, kind, friendly, and welcoming to everyone. Thank you, for the free soy milk and dessert. This place is so amazing. I recommend their food to everyone.

Really nice tofu dishes. Only place I know that has tofu pudding and comes with nice ginger syrup. Iced coffee also very good. Haven’t tried their meats.
