We went here on a Friday night. They have the most delicious buffet! Several kinds of fish, chicken, salad bar and potatoes. It’s on one of the side streets off the town square. My husband and I had the buffet, his brother had roast beef with potatoes and gravy, and brother and sister in law had just the catfish dinner, and roast beef with potatoes and gravy. The employees are so nice and friendly.

Nice restaurant with plenty of seating. The waitresses are very quick and attentive. The restaurant has plenty of space for seating. This place has plenty of specials every day. You can also get breakfast until 2:00 p.m. if you prefer. The hours are plenty long from early in the morning until later in the evening. If you haven’t tried eating here, I strongly suggest you try it. It is located just off of the east side of Jacksonville Square.

Seemed like a nice enough place… Sat there for ten minutes before someone came over… And when I told her I’d been sitting there a while she just rolled her eyes and walked away from me. Would find somewhere else if you want decent service. Called and told the manager about what happened and she called me a liar then hung up on me. They have a POW and American flag hanging outside but they don’t seem to care about veterans. Also I saw a waitress come outside and take a few huge rips off her vape then walk back inside and continue to serve customers without even washing her hands. The place also has a very dumpy unkempt atmosphere. Yikes… Go somewhere else!

Biscuits and gravy recipe was changed to a canned gravy version and its horrendous compared to the original owners version. Corners are being cut with the new owner. Sad to see. Used to love this place.

The food is pretty good. Sometimes there’s only one waitress so you have to be patient. But I do recommend this place and will definitely go back.

Googled for a “greasy spoon” because we didn’t want a chain. So pleasantly surprised to find this little place. The atmosphere is wonderful. Quiet and inviting. Then the food. I got a hamburger horseshoe and just wow. The cheese was out of this world and the hamburger as amazing. The salad bar was awesome and fresh. She got a roast beef with baked potato and side salad. All I heard from her was yummy. The service was top notch as well. The waitress was amazing and took care of the entire place and was attentive to everyone. Very nice. We will be coming back again.
