We tried Kimono while traveling through the area. We appreciated accommodation for vegetarians. Food came to the table quickly and was hot and tasty. Vegetables were cut in bite sized pieces (some places have huge chunks of vege). The miso soup had larger sized chunks of tofu than many restaurants I’ve been to and generous portions of tofu and sea weed. The sushi was very good. Our 3 year old loves sushi and the roll was easy for him to eat. The service was good, especially because they do not have a lot of servers. Our server kept up with everything we needed, including refills and things we needed for our toddler. Probably the only thing lacking was not knowing what to do when we walked in. It was an uncomfortable amount of time we had to wait to be acknowledged. We weren’t sure if we were supposed to wait or seat ourselves. We witnessed other people being seated more quickly, so maybe the hostess just stepped away…but a “please wait to be seated” sign would’ve helped.
Over all we were impressed by food quality. Generous portions. Good sushi. Good service. Reasonable prices. We’d definitely return when visiting again.

Stopped by on the way to Ohio and it did not disappoint!!!! We sat by the grill and the experience was so cool! The boy who cooked for us was so nice and always had a smile on his face. We also ordered small sides of fried rice and it was a perfect serving size!! The california roll was delicious as well! Will be coming here every trip! LOVE IT!

Went for a date night with hubby. Our server Lewis was SUPER nice, friendly, and considerate. He just went above and beyond. He made sure to ask if we wanted the sushi rolls to come out first as appetizers, kept our drinks full, brought out extra napkins, offered dipping sauces, and even gave us a Pepsi to go. We were well taken care of, and the food was equally excellent. The crab rangoon was full of crab meat. The complimentary spring rolls were an unexpected nice touch and delicious. Our sushi rolls were fresh. Loved the shrimp tempura sushi roll. We ordered the filet mignon hibachi and it was PERFECTION!! The miso soup was also so good. Highly recommend giving this place a try. Thanks for a great time!

Dropped in for dinner and was promptly seated by the hostess. After perusing the menu I selected miso soup n salad with ginger dressing. For sushi the Rainbow roll is really good because, if your new to sushi, it doesn’t have a fishy flavor. Just pour a little Soy sauce over it, add a pinch of Wasabi (Japanese horseradish which will clear your sinuses but won’t burn like a mexican pepper), and your good to go! The entree was Hibachi Snapper and Salmon with vegetables and fried rice
The service was good at first but then my server did not come by and remove the empty plates when more food was brought to the table. Might want to work on that. Another server did refill my glass. The food was very good. The sushi is very good I’d return if in the neighborhood.
Returning another day for dinner, I’ll keep it short n sweet: My server and service was excellent. The food was excellent. The sushi was fresh.
My table was clean and cleaned of used plates/bowl as I ate which I thanked her for. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Great restaurant for leisure or business! The staff were extremely helpful. There was so much to choose from that I asked the waiter what the chef recommended: fillet with hunter roll and it was extraordinary! Mother had the chicken fried rice . We were extremely satisfied and will bee back very soon. Thank Kimonos

delicious food, wonderful atmosphere, and kind waiters/waitresses! i got the sushi deluxe, and it was awesome! they gave me the option between tuna and a california roll, then they gave me a variety of fresh sashimi that was plated perfectly. i’ve came here since i was little, and they’ve never disappointed! my friend got the shrimp and scallop hibachi with a wonderful sauce. they accept apple pay as well, and even have a little robot that has lollipops and some other candies! i would recommend this to people who love japanese cuisine as one of the best steakhouses in the area! (they also had some salads and miso soup that is served as an appetizer that wasn’t shown in the pictures, but it was delicious!!)
