I usually love bringing friends and family here to eat but my recent experience today has made me not want to return. the young female waitress on the floor today was very rude and i felt rushed to order and leave- i guess because i was eating alone. i also saw another review that said the rice noodles in the pho were undercooked and mine were too. i could only take two bites before i just decided it wasn’t worth it. please inform your waitstaff to treat all guests with care and respect because it damages the reputation of an otherwise great restaurant.

We’ve enjoyed a new appetizer- snow crab stuffed deep fried jalapeño peppers!
Not spicy, pepper was not soggy, crispy and yummy!

This place offers great service and the menu has so many options. A must try multiple times to taste so many different flavors.
They do have a lunch menu as well.
Everything tasted fresh. The sautéed edamame was fantastic especially if you like garlic. The sportsman roll was definitely worth it. Tasty and the fish was so good.
We went around 12:45 and the lunch crowd was not so bad. I’m sure it’s packed at other times.

Everytime that I have gone and picked up sushi (my fave rock n rolls with seaweed instead of soy paper) they have always been very accommodating and very nice! As well as their food is always so great!!

I’ve been coming here for about ten years. It’s always been so consistently good. I’ve recently started ordering takeout after appointments in Baton Rouge, since I live across the river, 30 minutes away. It’s always packaged perfectly for me to enjoy at home. Though waiting 30 minutes isn’t ever as good as having it fresh, their food is always such a treat when I get home.

The drunken fish has very quickly become my absolute favorite place to get pho. The broth is so flavorful and rich, and tastes really fresh. The noodles taste fresh, and are not stuck together in one hard clump that breaks when you go to eat it like many other places I’ve had in Louisiana. Their chili oil also tastes very fresh. It’s absolutely delicious. I attached a photo of the meatball pho, which I know is an acquired taste. Most would probably prefer a different beef cut, but I really love the meatballs here they’re tender and delicious. I have tried many of their appetizers too and have really enjoyed all but one of them (sorry, but your calamari is mush and I do not recommend it’s the one draw back I’ve found here) but the egg rolls are actually some of the best I’ve ever had. When I first saw them I thought to myself they’re tiny but when I bit in to them, they were actually the most densely packed egg rolls I’ve ever had, very meaty, and the size of them is perfect as they are very filling. Overall, between here and the west coast, this place has the best pho I’ve ever had in my life and is an absolute gem. I would give their pho 10 stars if I could! Staff has always been very friendly, kind, and attentive as well.

Simple atmosphere, staff was cordial and energetic. The portions were large, and the food was excellent. Although the sashimi was a tad dry for my taste, it was barely worth mentioning. The topper: their sea salt edamame was top-notch!

I really really love this place, taste is amazing and it’s affordable. Also near LSU, great to grab a different bite other than fast food.
