I DoorDashed an order from Kimmy’s on Friday while I was getting my hair braided in Baltimore. I’ve been innsearch of some good chitlins. The last two places that I went to (one in Lexington Market) We’re horrible. Even though I personally have never liked Kimmy’s food overall, I’ve never had a problem with their chitlins.
I decided to order the chitlins with no sides because I was skeptical about the sides. Also, I feel the sides are severely overpriced. But anyway.
I also had a taste for some fried “crab sticks”. I decided to order that as well. I finished my order off with an iced tea.
When my order arrived, It was packaged in a very chaotic way. Stuff was very disorganized in the bag. Thankfully, they did include the condiments. My chitlins were cold, Which made sense because they tend to smell bad during delivery. So the only issue is, I had to wait until I got home to eat them. That was not an issue for me.
My crab sticks were horrible. The little bit of crust that they had on them was falling off in crumbles. And they taste bad. They should consider removing this item off their menu. It was that terrible! Wa Ballerina cappuccino
My tea was so delicious!
When I got home to eat my chitlins, I thought that the container looked small for $17. But to my surprise when I took them out, there were so many! I was very delighted. Once I seasoned them to my liking with the salt, pepper vinegar, and hot sauce that was provided, They made my night! That’s why I’m giving this a three star. But look at these crab sticks y’all! Really?!

I used to eat here years ago and the food was pretty good. Tonight’s order not so much. The fries are very hard and unseasoned, fish bland and has a slight smell to it. Ordered a 3pc whiting and fries which was surprisingly sold separately. $20 spent and it’s not worth eating.

TERRIBLE FOOD. EVERYTHING IS BLAND AND NO FLAVOR. The taste of the chitterlings was disgusting. The food was not cleaned thoroughly and tasted undercooked. Please refrain from eating from this location. Cooking is not something these individuals can do at all. $40 has gone down the drain. The greens were lacking seasoning. Mac and cheese was terrible. I am in awe of the terrible experience I had. Despite my dislike for giving negative reviews, I had to do it because it was that bad.

I send my friend to buy breakfast today, December 15 at Kimmy’s .
He and his workers are working right across from the restaurant. Never had a problem. On my recommendation he got his breakfast. He was send to another area and didn’t open the container at that time. When he did, open it a long string of hair was in his food. He got upset and gave the food to the birds. I told him, he should had taken it back to them. Because he didn’t know, if he would be back in that area tomorrow working , he was frustrated at that point.

I like their breakfast platters. Simple and decently priced. They have a buffet where you weigh your food. A little over priced in my opinion. I appreciate the fact that they have multiple vegetable option available on their buffet. The food is good not great.

Overpriced garbage sitting out all day with bugs around it. I asked what they do with the food that’s been sitting out since they close in 10 minutes — throw it away or bring it back out tomorrow? They couldn’t answer. I asked if there was a discount since it’s old, and they said no. That told me all I needed to know — they don’t care about the community, just money. The food’s not even good, and refusing a discount 10 minutes before closing was petty. Black folks, stop supporting places that don’t respect us.
