Got the bibimbox with spicy pork. Really loved how many different components there were. Each component had its own flavor, texture and temperature. For the price was pretty good value as I was completely full afterwards.

We ordered the Bibim Boxes with the Bulgogi and Galbi Short ribs, both of which were delicious with generous portions. The people were very friendly and the service was quick. Parking was somewhat difficult to find, but that’s the neighborhood. We had great food and a fun experience, we will be back for sure!

Friendly staff no wait awesome prices big fan.
Spicy Pork Bibim Box was solid. Gochujang sauce was the star.
Fun little nook of 10 to 15 food trucks with ample seating. Will be back next time I’m in town

Loveeeee! So yummy! Came here right before my flight to get a meal to go because I had been dying to try it. Food truck hours are super weird and hard to catch. But the food was great and the portions massive!!!Not too long to wait because we were the only ones there. So so so yummy and enough servings for two people. Only down side is the egg could’ve been actually runny and the spicy chicken honestly was not spicy. However, I genuinely really enjoyed. In a really cool food cart pod with a bar as well.

Knocked it out of the park again. One of the most predictably great food carts in the area. Bipim Box With Bulgogi Beef. Sweet, spicy, crunchy, savory. Everything a Bipimbap should be. Keep it up guys.

This is the BEST food cart that I have eaten at in Portland. I have never taken a single bad bite and they’re continuing this top tier reign at The Heist. Munchwrap with Bulgogi is my recommendation but you can’t go wrong.

Overall taste of food was good BUT (yes there is a big but) Galbi was super burnt and my friend could not even eat them bc they taste nothing like galbi but burnt meat.
I wanted to order Kim chee fried rice but they said it will take more than 18 min so I changed my order.
I got the bibim box with spicy pork, they were good. Too much kimchi made a little salty taste after mixed them up.

From Portland to Maryland to Portland – finally made the trek out to Kim Jong Grillin at the Heist during a recent hometown visit to PDX. I mostly came here because I appreciated Han’s interview in the Racist Sandwich and new podcast We All Look Alike, but the food is actually amazing. I had the bulgogi bowl and devoured it. Han is legit. Can’t wait to go home to MD and explore Korean food more and will add this to my rotation during my semi-annual trips back to PDX. Thanks for all you do and the great food.

Oh. Bibim box. I have never had one before. I kept seeing stuff online and I remember in February when there was an ice storm that this place was offering food to service workers. I thought “that’s so sweet! I’ll order, sometime” and I finally did it.
This was possibly one of the most delicious things I’ve ever eaten. The steak was grilled and had a barbecued / char flavor. It was tender and there is a hot sauce on top. There’s this delicious kimchi and then the japchae and rice below adds a really nice starchy and chewey texture to go with the crunchy kimchi and the beef.
Legit made me drool while I was eating it. The egg on top was soooo good to bring everything together. I could eat one of these every day for a long time and be a happy boy. Holy cow.
Also – massive portion. Easily 2 meals worth. Hefty box lol.
