They have a free parking lot and both indoor and outdoor seating which was nice. I had the smoked salmon benedict and while it was good the service was bad, and unfortunately that’s the reason for the poor rating. Dee was friendly to all of the tables around me but for some reason she wasn’t to me. She greeted and talked to other tables, but not with me. One example is when she asked me if everything was ok with the food but keep walking (away) as I answered her. She repeatedly checked on other tables but wouldn’t even look in my direction so that I could pay my bill. A different server came to my table to clear my plate and he brought my the bill instead. He was nice but he didn’t return my credit card and I had to go find him to retrieve it.

I live very close by in MDR and have been to Killer Shrimp before so really wanted to check out their breakfast restaurant attached on the south side of the building called Killer Café. I will say that the food taste and quality is pretty good although the service was horrible. Inside is very large with a large counter area and booth seating and each booth is very large and could comfortably sit at least six people. There is also a free parking lot attached so parking is really easy.

The issue that we had was we arrived at 10:30 for a Saturday brunch. When we walked in the server said have a seat anywhere you like. So we sat in the very first booth, among many other open booths. Many servers passed by us and as well as other employees but no one came to take our drink or food order or even check in with us for over 25 minutes. Finally, the older woman working there came over and said there was a mixup in how they are assigning tables and tried to explain it away, but she didn’t even say sorry or offer any consolidation or even make the issue right. One of the other servers overheard this and came over and took our order after waiting about 30 minutes. After that they expedited the order but everything took much longer than it should have. Also, pricing is more expensive here because you are paying for proximity to the water. However, the food quality is not to par with what they charge.

I started off with a slice of the Cinnamon Roll Cake and it felt much more like a piece of cake versus a traditional cinnamon roll. It was pretty dense so I would not recommend or order it again. For my breakfast I chose the Killer Shrimp Benedict, which I enjoyed for the most part although my eggs were a bit overcooked and the few pieces of shrimp just really did not fill me up.

Overall, I would give this place another try to see if the service was a one time issue given how close it is to where I live. I will say that it is not my favorite breakfast restaurant in the area, but I am going to give it a one more try in the future to see if I just got unlucky during my visit.

The food was not edible, I ordered from the killer shrimp specialty section, eggs Benedict with Killer Shrimp. The food namesake too the restaurant. I should have sent it back… but I didn’t want to be that person and kill the vibe for my Husband who was excited to be there. So here is what was wrong with my dish. The killer shrimp was chopped and looked old even decaying, and appeared to be from frozen or perhaps even canned. But I was hungry and didn’t want to judge the book by its cover. I ate a small piece, it didn’t taste good, but despite the dreadful appearance it didn’t taste rotton. I picked up another small piece and that piece tasted spoiled and smelled like cat food. I took off the shrimp from the muffin, ate the eggs which were fine. I always ask for my sauce on the side, because sometimes I don’t like the way restaurants make it. So the eggs were baked and fine enough. Then I picked up half of my muffin and spread a thin film of hollandaise sauce on it like butter. I took a small bite and gagged! The sauce was like old soured milk found in the back of the fridge months old. It made me want to instantly vomit. I had ordered a 12 dollar fruit cup, despite being rather small it was actually fresh. I got a bit of the hollandaise sauce on my fingers when I picked up the muffin. The stench on my hands was aweful, even after I washed my hands throughly, I sprayed perfume on. My fingers to stop the gag reflex I was getting from the sour milk smell. I left hungry…

My husband got a cheese burger and fries. He said it was very average, he was hungry also, and ate it. But his potatoes had a hot pepper spice on it, that was not disclosed on the menu. He xould not eat them as he has acid reflux.

Ended up my husband got food poisoning and sick as a dog 2 hours after his meal. I was okay , just a bit disgusted.

Potatoes, English muffin from crab Benedict and toast were all burnt. The only good thing were the pancakes, poached eggs and chorizo and eggs.

It was my husband’s and my first time at the restaurant. We got there about noon and it was not busy. My husband loves Eggs Benedict and ordered the Crab Cake Eggs Benedict. He said they were the best he’s had so far.
I just had two eggs with wheat toast and fruit. It was good and the fruit was fresh.
The staff was friendly and attentive.

The place is awesome, the atmosphere is really nice and the service was amazing, I miss the taste in the food to be honest, from 3 people 2 had to use salt and add some sauce to feel the taste of the food, other than that was all good. Thank you!

Cool spot, they have added some of the killer shrimp dishes during breakfast hours, so I had that, killer shrimp dish has a good flavor when cooked right, I give it the 4 stars because is a hit or miss with the bread and they way they make the dish, other than that it was cool, manager is friendlier now. Over all a good spot to have breakfast while enjoying a nice view of yachts

I was very impressed with the sushi and drinks! It was my first time. We went for a friend’s birthday and couldn’t be happier with the service staff. Noe was very attentive and bringing us all the tasty Killer Margaritas and Gin Fizzes we needed. The blue crab hand roll was TO DIE FOR! I could’ve eaten a bunch of those and would’ve been happy as a clam. We also enjoyed the caterpillar and Honu roll.
You must eat here! I highly recommend!

Showed up 10:30ish for brunch. Great Bloody Mary, Riley was a superb waitress. Food was good though not as spicy as I expected. I didn’t have a tip pre applied. Maybe the complaining about auto tipping are parties of 6 or more? Which like most restaurants the menu warns you about.

I was treating my friend to their shrimp, crab, and lobster stew and my friend went from very excited to disappointed because the seafood was all overcooked to that it was very chewy rather than tender. And the broth the seafood is in was watery and bland. For a $50.00 dish it just wasn’t very good. My Eggs Benedict wete perfectly fine. The best thing was the hash browns!
