Just wanted to give a shout out to probably your friendliest employee, Lucas. (Most of your employees have always been friendly!). This is the second time he has checked us in and tonight he also made our pizzas. He made suggestions and even got my husband to try the meatballs!! I know he’s young, but he definitely should be part of your customer service training team!! And the meatballs were delicious!!

Pizza was great. Atmosphere was good. Service was a bit slow. When my wife and I originally walked in there, there was one hero working by himself. Holding down the fort if I may. He was handling everyone’s order like a champ and running circles around the place. Due to him being the only one taking care of everyone service did take a bit of time. We visited Blaze Pizza for dinner on June 28th. While waiting to place our order, we noticed a staff member behind the counter behaving erratically—walking around and yelling—which was quite unsettling.
When we reached the register after selecting our toppings, we were assisted by the same individual. In the middle of our transaction, he abruptly began shouting at another employee in front of us and the rest of the diners. There was no apology or acknowledgment of the disruption.
Based on his demeanor and level of authority, it appeared he may have been the manager. If that’s the case, it was a very disappointing display of leadership. Unfortunately, due to this experience, we do not plan to return to this location.

This was the first blaze pizza location in Rapid City South Dakota. The staff is always very friendly and the facility is always very clean. As far as pizza goes, blaze seems to be a little healthier than your average. We like to get the build your own pizzas with the regular tomato sauce, the hot tomato sauce is actually fairly hot and we have a fairly high tolerance for heat. This visit, we tried the cauliflower crust for the first time. It was amazing! It was very crispy and kind of had a melt in your mouth feel to it. The flavor was excellent. Very consistent.

I ordered 7 pizzas for take out, and it was ready by the estimated time. I even got a phone call to make sure my cheese-less pizza was correct (dairy allergy), and then was asked if we would like to try the vegan cheese. Although we didn’t want to try it, I SO appreciated the phone call. Top notch customer service, and excellent pizza! Thank you!

I ordered curbside. Order ready at 6:15 pm and I called when I got there and the pizza wasn’t ready. Fine.. I get that. They said it would be right out. At 6:40 I called and the line was busy. Finally hubby had to go in and get it. Which sucks because I had Covid. 🙁 The pizza, sadly, was not what we ordered.. Both pizzas had no drizzle, one had no bacon. The pesto cheese sticks had no pesto! This is just super poor service and after paying good money, we expect to get what we ordered. I couldn’t go back in because I didn’t want to get anyone sick. I guess word to the wise: always check your order before leaving.

As a veggie lover (but not a vegetarian) the Herbivore pizza is where it’s at! Very similar to MOD Pizzas, with the build your own option, plus a handful of signature pizzas. The Herbivore is loaded with quality toppings such as arugula, garlic cloves, cherry tomatoes, banana peppers and spicy red sauce. I added balsamic drizzle and it became my new favorite, instantly wishing we had a franchise in my home state. Also ordered a spicy pepperoni, which was good, but sitting in lots of oil (could’ve been the addition ‘drizzle’ they add), nothing that a good dab didn’t solve. Both were their 11″ personal size, lasting us a meal with extra slices to snack on later.

The seating area was being swept, pretty empty, with a few tables needing to be wiped down. The restrooms were single user, and clear of debris.
