We had a great experience! The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavor and very well prepared. The wait times between dishes were very reasonable, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The cocktails were also excellent—well balanced and refreshing. Overall, everything felt well organized and thoughtfully done. Definitely a place worth coming back to!

I visited Killa Nikkei. The place is beautiful and the atmosphere is nice, but honestly the food wasn’t that good. The presentation looks incredible, but the portion size and the price don’t match. The prices are very high for the quality and quantity of the food. I expected a better experience.

Amazing experience at Killa! The food was full of authentic flavor, every dish was on point. The anticucho sauce was incredible, seriously next level. Drinks from the bar were great, and the passion fruit pisco sour was perfectly balanced.

Shoutout to Jomi, super friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend this spot. Will definitely be back!

From now on, Killa is definitely my favorite restaurant. As a Peruvian, I can honestly say this is by far the best Peruvian restaurant in Utah!!!! Everything is absolutely delicious, the flavors are incredible, and even the drinks are amazing. They also offer Peruvian cocktails, which is awesome! I’m so thankful that we finally have a real Peruvian restaurant here. The place is beautiful and has a great atmosphere. I highly recommend this new spot and will definitely be coming back soon!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Killa Nikkei is hands down one of the most unique dining experiences in Salt Lake City. This isn’t your typical Peruvian restaurant — it’s different in a very good way. The Nikkei influence brings a fresh twist while still keeping the food authentic and deeply rooted in Peruvian flavor.

My wife is Peruvian, and she said nothing has reminded her more of home than eating here. That says everything. The flavors were bold, balanced, and clearly made with intention. You can tell they care about the quality and authenticity.

My only complaint: it was freezing cold inside. Almost everyone in the restaurant kept their coats on while eating. Also, for parties of two, one seat is a metal chair that feels like a prison bench while the other side is a cushioned seat. Minor issue but noticeable.

That said, the food is absolutely worth it. We will be back.

Bryce was an awesome server. Super attentive, friendly, and gave great recommendations.

The steak was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The Asian Tiradito was fresh and honestly one of the best things we ordered, it was super unique. The Chilean sea bass was just okay. Not bad, but I wouldn’t get it again.

Overall great experience. Definitely coming back for the steak and Tiradito.

My girlfriend and I went in for the grand opening and just wow… The space is beautiful, the decor and vibe felt so classy and welcoming. With it being our first time here we tried a variety of dishes and they were all AMAZING. The presentation and flavors were on point, I was so blown away with every dish that came to the table. You can tell that the team of Chefs are top notch. All of our drinks were delicious and thoughtful, the peruvian whiskey is too good. So glad to have a place like this in SLC, there is absolutely nothing like it. I can’t wait to go back and try the other dishes. Do yourself a favor and check this place out, everything was top notch and the pricing was super fair compared to other places of this caliber in SLC. My photos don’t do it justice but I still cannot get over how beautiful and delicious all of the food was.

Absolutely amazing experience. This Nikkei (Peruvian–Japanese) restaurant is truly one of a kind in Utah, and honestly, I don’t think there’s anything else like it in Salt Lake City. Every dish was full of flavor, perfectly balanced, and made with so much care.
As someone from Peru, this food really reminded me of home — the flavors, the freshness, the way everything comes together. You can tell it’s authentic and done right, not just a fusion for the name.
If you’re looking for something different, high quality, and unforgettable, this place is a must. Highly recommend
