With its elegant yet casual atmosphere, delicious Japanese cuisine, and warm hospitality, my experience at Kiku Bistro was nothing short of gratifying. I highly recommend the plum wine, and bringing a date. Service was exceptionally friendly and attentive. I left feeling taken care of, not to mention impressed by the food. An Uptown staple, Kiku Bistro is well worth a visit if you’re in the area, and the trip if you’re not. Hope to be back soon to try more of the menu.

Great spot for happy hour! The food was delicious and came out quickly. I ordered the passionfruit martini, but unfortunately, I couldn’t really taste the passionfruit. Other than that, everything was good!

Does this look like 240$ worth of food…. let alone the order was all wrong went inside to order an waited 35 min for order, walked back to car then to see the order is all wrong so I had to go back in an replace the order he took in front of me 10/10 never coming back, an to add to the mess up I had to pick up 2 orders of fried rice in lino lakes on way home, when I lived in uptown this was the spot yea last time I go here

Amazing place that you literally can walk right by and not know this gem is right there. Cocktails are mixed to perfection and the sushi rolls, the flavor combinations are superb. The California Moonlight roll is a must have.

I had a horrible experience here. I ordered the Bliss roll, King Kong roll, and the Alligator roll with a side of fried rice. After taking my third bite of the Bliss roll I found a long black hair in my food. To top it off I they forgot to bring my fried rice out. I had to remind them 3 times for my rice. When I got it, it was cold! Management did NOTHING! I was highly disappointed in this place!!!!!

I’ve been getting sushi here for years and have never been disappointed! Always fresh and delicious. I usually do take out but recently dined in for a date night. We were there for happy hour and the deals on drinks, appetizers, and rolls were great! Service was fast and friendly. Our drinks and apps came out super quick! Will absolutely be coming back for happy hour again!!

Got takeout from here for the first time last night and I was pleasantly surprised, considering sushi take out is always a gamble in general.
I ordered the “Christmas roll” and it was delicious!
Only complaint is that they packaged it in the same bag as our order of fried rice, so my sushi was quite warm/a bit “steamed” by the time we got home with it. Otherwise no issues and our order was ready on time!
Update 8/17/21
Ordered via uber eats again tonight- tried the twin flame roll and mango fried rice. Twin flame roll was delicious but they forgot to include the avacodo that was listed as an ingredient, and yet again the rolls were very warm from being in the same bag as fried rice. Mango fried rice was delicious tho, no complaints there!

GO HERE! With all the construction, this place hasn’t been as busy but they have delicious fresh food, clean, beautiful ambiance (date night, celebrations, happy hour to catch up with friends), and friendly and fast service!
This has been my go to sushi spot for over a decade. Just ate here for happy hour (until 7pm weekdays) for my birthday (sign up for their toast tab and you get a birthday coupon for your birthday month!) and it was perfect. Please help keep this uptown gem alive!

This is, by far, the best sushi in minneapolis, I have eaten at them all and feel this is the best value for money. Also, their Chinese is on point!! Number 1 recommendation to anyone that asks for good Asian food. I am asian, so I know good asian food.
