I wrote a stellar review on Yelp and wanted to write an updated one on Google. The baked goods were exceptionally FRESH, DELICIOUS, and surpassed many of the bakeries in Chinatown. The plain bun was crunchy with a hint of sea salt. It had a European baking style that I couldn’t pin point and I could see this bun elevating a Pan Amore Japanese bread sando.
The cream bun was simple and not too sweet with the Asian style consistency that I am accustomed too. The freshness is what stood out. I’m not a huge fan of the plastic wrappers and feel that it can change the consistency of flavor. Unlike Uwaji cream buns over time, those buns tend to have a manufactured taste and the cream is less cream tasting and more plasticky. I’m appreciative of the detailed quality control of this bun.
The star was the green onion bun with hints of lard. The bun was so flavorful that each green onion was bursting with flavor. It was the best one I had. My family and I tried 5 more buns and they were all good. I highly recommend coming here.

I ordered 3 whole Red Bean Loaf Bread the day before picking up. Always they keep the bread behind the casher or kitchen but this time one of the staff picked 2 red bean loaf breads from storage (not kitchen) and 1 from shelf. The bread smells rancid odor, feeling like it was baked with old and stale oil. Sure enough the taste was awful. I had their red bead bread a month ago, it was delicious that time. So either they change chef, ingredients, or they sold me the old ones (When I ordered on the phone, I confirm them with fresh baked on the day) I am more than 1 hour drive the store, so I can’t just bring back to them.

Oh my goodness, everything we purchased was delicious! I didn’t get photos of it all, but out of everything we tried, the Hokkaido Cream Cheese Cake was my favorite. It was so soft and creamy. The portion was huge and tasted amazing after it sat in the fridge and cooled. I also enjoyed the Carmel Danish and the Hokkaido Cream Cup Cake. All of it was fantastic. As much as I loved the pastries, I do wish the atmosphere was a bit more welcoming, we didn’t feel very welcome. But it is possible they were just ready to be off, it was close to closing when we came in. Either way, I will definitely be back!

Loved the shortbread cookies and the custard bun. They had a wide variety of bakery items at a decent price. I wished they had dairy alternatives for their teas. I can’t wait to try the panda tiramisu next time!

Love, love the red bean loaf and buns. Don’t care much for the chocolate roll (not particularly chocolaty #bland) and taro buns.
The cakes are pretty (instagrammable) and interesting.
I had a checkout mishap but the staff rectified it satisfactorily when I informed them about it (I was overcharged one loaf and got another item in exchange when I came back again to shop).
Highly recommended for Taiwanese pastries to eat and gift to white friends/family.

I love KiKi Bakery!!! We ordered birthday cakes and lots of breads and pastries from them. Have to say not a single thing I’ve had from there was a “meh”. It is that good!
If you want more selections of bread, go there early. But on the other hand, it might be scary because you might ended up like me with so many bread at home…..
Their toasts are great and not pricey at all. You probably should put them in a sealed container in the fridge after a couple of days since no preservatives toasts did not last long in room temperature. Their strawberry cream cake is the birthday staples in my family. $3 difference between the 6” and the 8”; plan accordingly.
Besides bread in a wrapper on the shelves, I highly recommend their chocolate chips mochi, which comes in the package of fives and looks exactly like some chocolate chip cookies. They were sooooo good. The Pork Flosses Mochi Cake, which are available only once in a while and sorta expensive. But if you like pork floss and the mochi-mochi-ness, it’s to die for!!! Japanese cheese cake and mango cream cake in the fridge were super delicious. Egg tart is amazing too! OMG I felt like I can kept on forever….

Ordered a large cake for a big event. Kiki bakery was able to accommodate my order with special requests on relatively short notice. Cake was DELICIOUS! Very balanced, great sponge, cream is light and not too sweet, simple and elegant decorations. Thank you, the cake was a highlight of the event.

The bread and cakes here are always fantastic, but the cream puffs are next-level. Light, creamy, and totally irresistible. My favorite bakery by far! I always come in to grab an easy lunch for my son, he loves the mini hot dogs!

I absolutely loved this place and I can’t wait to go back. They have so many different options and everything is a good price. I had such a hard time choosing but landed on a taro mochi bun, a coconut pastry, and a matcha red bean cake slice. The taro mochi bun unfortunately had an odd taste in the dough not sure why but I would definitely try it again. The coconut pastry was full of flavor and of course not too sweet. The matcha red bean cake was delicious I could have eaten two slices, I would have liked more red bean but I’m not upset about it. I cannot wait to try so many other items!

Got the black forest cake for a party. Cake was too expensive for how it tasted– the cake sponge was dry, the whipped topping was flavorless, and all of the party guests only had one bite before discarding the cake. Two stars for good presentation but that’s it.
