Absolutely terrible experience and I will never recommend this restaurant to anyone.

First, when we asked about the portion size of the Thai Laksa, they showed us a small bowl and claimed it was only enough for one person. Based on that, based on that we ordered two bowls, but each was easily enough to serve two people. This was completely misleading and felt like a tactic to make us order more than we needed.

The next day, we ordered Pad Kee Mao for lunch to-go, and the quantity was shockingly smaller compared to the dinner portions we had received the previous night. On top of that, they added a 15% gratuity charge for a takeout order, which is unreasonable.

When we called to raise the issue, they hung up on us without listening. We even went there in person, only to be told bluntly that nothing could be done.

We were a group of 10 people giving them significant business, yet they showed no respect or accountability. This restaurant is dishonest, unprofessional, and does not deserve anyone’s business.

While the service at this pizza spot was excellent—friendly, prompt, and welcoming—the rest of the experience left me disappointed. The food quality didn’t quite meet expectations, especially considering the higher prices. The flavors were average at best, and the portions didn’t justify the cost.

It’s clear the staff cares about delivering good customer service, but unfortunately, that alone isn’t enough to make up for the underwhelming food. For the price point, I expected a much better overall dining experience.

Unless you’re just dropping in for the friendly service, I wouldn’t recommend this place based on value. There are better options that deliver both great food and fair pricing.

The food quality was very disappointing. The noodles and fried rice were extremely oily and overly sweet. When we raised our concern, they gave us extra plain boiled noodles and asked to mix them together to dilute the sweetness, but it lost all it’s seasoning when mixed. Additionally, the fried rice had a strange, unpleasant smell, which left us with discomfort for hours after we ate.

We ordered take out and it was delivered quick to Aspen. But … the food was not very good. On the good side, a noodle dish was pretty good, a little sweet, but tasty. Egg rolls – fresh and tasty (with a TINY tub of sweet abs sour (sauce). After that not great. Wing were “competent” – wish it would have had some sauces – they were big. After that, not great – won ton was one of the worst we’ve ever had. Weirdly seemed spicy – which is not normal for won ton. Broth was weird – not tasty – not terrible just not good. Won tons odd too (and we order Chinese a lot). Sticky rice – well, like a brick. Summary – not the worst meal we ever had, but disappointingly not good. Odd flavors for sone simple dishes. A few ok items – mostly not great. Disappointed.

After the Gondola ride and too much snow, it was time to eat some spicy Thai food and we found this perfect place in aspen which had vegan options for vegetarians like us. We ordered Tom yum soup, pad Thai drunken noodles and red parang curry. All the dishes were scrumptious and I wanted to have more of drunken noodles. The portion size was a little less for the price. Last we ordered a coconut ice cream which was good enough for 2-3 people. Overall a great place in the middle of aspen with great food and good server. Would visit again when in aspen.

Bangkok Thai Bistro is a truly beautiful place with amazing and delicious food. The unique and lovely ambiance adds to the overall experience. The vegetable Tom Yum soup was quite enjoyable, and the starters, including chicken satay, dumplings, and shrimp rice rolls with peanut sauces, were really good.

The basil fried rice received high praise, and both the green curry and Panang curry were delightful. The pineapple fried rice was decent, though not as exceptional as the other dishes.

The waiters were sweet and provided quick service. For Thai food enthusiasts, this place is a must-visit, especially given its stunning location. Don’t miss out on trying the outdoor seating, which offers breathtaking views of the Aspen mountains and the beautiful street with its charming flower arrangements.

The noodles and special seafood plate was good

A very below average Thai restaurant, where server notes down one thing and the chef cooks something entirely different.

Noodles were super chewy and had bland flavor. Additionally we ordered the coconut rice upon the server recommendation which was just a tad of coconut milk and a load of sugar, which the server hyped it to us opposite.

After all this they have the audacity to add self gratuity of 18% which is mandatory only for party of 6 or above. When asked they said they didn’t realize we are only 4. Shameful.

I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go to this restaurant, maybe go to City Market and get frozen food.

My husband and I love this place, a favorite restaurant amongst locals. The food is so good and the prices are very reasonable for Aspen. There aren’t many affordable places for dinner left in downtown.
The space inside is very small – there are only 4 tables. But the patio is really nice – surrounded by flowers next to the the Clark’s Market courtyard. There’s an option to order online for pickup. Not sure if they currently deliver. They let you order from the menu of the other Asian restaurants next door – you’ll have tons of options including many vegetarian and vegan ones. There’s a kids menu too – our kids love the sticky coconut and the wild rice.
