We finally checked out Kiin Thai Sushi after hearing it opened recently—and it totally exceeded our expectations. We went for a weekday lunch and were seated right away, which was a great start.

They have a huge menu. We kicked things off with the coconut soup ($8). It was wonderfully creamy, packed with generous pieces of shrimp, and absolutely perfect for a cold, gloomy day.

For entrées, we shared the chirashi don ($26). We were a little nervous they might skimp on the sashimi, but it came with 10 thick, juicy, fresh slices.

We also tried the pad see ew with beef ($14). The portion was solid, though the flavor leaned a bit flat compared to the other dishes.

The star of the meal ended up being the mango sticky rice ($9). The presentation alone made us excited, and the taste delivered even more. The rice was perfectly chewy and sweet, pairing so well with the fresh mango.

Overall, a great lunch spot with a couple of standout dishes—and we’ll definitely be back for more!

We ordered food from Kiin Thai sushi restaurant for our New Year staff gathering, and everything was absolutely delicious.

The Thai dishes were full of authentic flavors, and the sushi was fresh and very well prepared. All of our staff really enjoyed the food, and many people complimented how tasty everything was.

Great quality, great taste, and perfect for a special occasion. Highly recommended!

We had such a great time at this Kiin Thai sushi restaurant! The food was super tasty. every dish we ordered was full of flavor and honestly some of the best Thai food I’ve had in a long time. The vibe of the place is really nice and cozy, and the staff are so friendly and polite that it made us feel really comfortable being there.

The location is also very convenient, which is a big plus. What we loved the most is that they helped us host our event, and it turned out amazing. Everything was smooth, well-organized, and stress free, which made the whole night really special for our guests.

Big thanks to the team for making it such a memorable experience. I’ll definitely be coming back again soon!

Had an excellent meal at Kiin — the crab fried rice and pad see yew were both fantastic. Everything was super flavorful and fresh without being too heavy. Cozy spot, friendly service, and great vibes all around. Definitely a new favorite for Thai in Cambridge!

As a Thai-American, I’m constantly looking for authentic Thai restaurants all over the country, and am usually disappointed. Kiin Thai is a new Thai restaurant in East Cambridge that has some of the most authentic Thai food I’ve ever had outside of Thailand. It would hold its own in Thailand. Chicken Satay was perfectly grilled and moist and tender (surprisingly hard to find it done well in the States). Hat Yai Fried Chicken was eye rolling good. Better than what I had at the famous places in Hat Yai. The steamed fish (pla lard prik manow) was perfectly flavored – also hard to find with the hot pot style here in the US—My favorite Thai dish and definitely gets a thumbs up. We got the pad grapow chicken (thai basil chicken) which was pretty good, not the best I’ve had. And the Pad Thai was the wet style which I’m not a fan of (not a big pad thai fan myself). Mango sticky rice had the strong coconut fragrance you find when done well in Thailand. Thai iced coffee was perfectly balanced. Service was attentive and restaurant was very beautiful. I would hit this place all the time if I lived in Boston!

The Ponzu Tuna Poke Bowl from Kiin Thai Sushi was a total hit for my office lunch! The tuna was incredibly fresh, the rice was perfectly seasoned, and I was impressed by the generous portion and variety of toppings, especially the pineapple and seaweed salad. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a high-quality lunch delivery. I’ll definitely be ordering this again!!

This place is amazing. I had some friends visiting from Florida, we drove here from Hopkinton. We were warmly greeted at the door and seem to have found the best customer service around. They went above and beyond
We all four had the seafood red curry, which was incredibly amazing, to die for. 🙂 We highly recommend this spot.

The staff and Chefs took really good care of us.

The seafood is fresh, the sushi was fresh, the Thai curry was fresh. We will come back often as we can.

Thank you to the staff for an amazing experience.

I finally made my way to Kiin, and I’m so glad I did! It’s definitely the best Thai food I’ve had in Boston.

The highlights for me were the seafood fire pot and the crab fried rice. The seafood fire pot had a beautifully complex broth — I thought it would be sour, but it was also savory and had a kick. It was really delicious, and the scallops inside were very tender. I’d definitely get this again. The crab fried rice was really eell-cooked and had great flavor. I usually don’t eat much rice, but I couldn’t stop eating this!

The roti massaman appetizer was also good, though I wish there was more roti — there was way more curry than we had roti, which was a shame because the roti was really nice and buttery. The curry was a bit sweet and not thick at all, but good.

The papaya salad was pretty good, though I would’ve preferred more fish sauce flavor (it was mostly sour and a bit sweet). There were only two shrimp, but they were nicely grilled and tender.

I also requested the guava margarita non-alcoholic, which they were able to do with their zero-proof gin. It basically tasted like juice, but I loved it!

Overall I was really pleasantly surprised by my experience here. I had flavors that I wasn’t expecting, but now will be thinking about until my next visit. This is a great addition to the Cambridge food scene, and I’ll definitely be back!
