From the second I pulled into the lot and smelled the wood fired grill, to the second the first appetizer hit the table, I knew I was in a good spot.
My wife and I shared two appetizers. The first being a Chilled Wood-Fired Beet dish with beets, pistachios, goat cheese, and mandarin oranges. The mix of smoke, cheese, nuts and acid from the orange was sensational. We also shared a Spicy Feta dip that had roasted jalepeño, Greek yogurt and Feta served with fresh hot pita bread. Man, oh man what a great choice! The spice of the jalepeño was balanced perfectly with the yogurt and cheese making for a dip I could not stop eating.
For lunch I had the Lamb Skewers (Cooked Medium). Trust me when I say just order these and don’t look back. They hit the spot for a lighter lunch while the wife got their lamb burger which was demolished in quick order.
The wife tried their “Big Fig Newton” cocktail with Woodford Reserve, muddled fig and rosemary. For a bourbon cocktail, it was light, bright and hit the spot on a warm fall afternoon.
This place will be a new staple in our traveling through, in or around Atlanta. The service was awesome and the outdoor seating is a must when it’s cool or there is a breeze!
The staff was extremely kind and welcoming, while the atmosphere itself felt fairly average. The chips served with the burger were not particularly impressive, almost like a simple side decoration, but the outstanding quality of the burger more than made up for it.
If you’re a burger lover, this spot is absolutely worth visiting.
Everything we ordered was pretty tasty, and we ordered a lot!
While the meatballs, the cilantro chicken skewers, the pork chop, tomato basil soup, Brussels sprouts and the beet salad were all good, the favorite was the spicy feta dip which was served with warm, soft pita. The spinach feta dip could’ve used some seasoning, but wasn’t too bad!
The service was quick and the staff courteous! Well worth a visit.
The meatballs are really good.
But other than that, it’s a okay place. I wouldn’t come back it’s really a girls spot to order cute food and talk over drinks.
Caleb might as well be the waitress. If the owner is reading this. Please just make this guy more titles. It seems he is way more equipped and caring.
