The wait staff seems like they don’t want to be there and didn’t do a great job at explaining the process. Like that they will cook the raw food for you.
Hot food is warm and usually cold by the time it gets to your table. The cold food and desserts were room temperature.
This place has a lot of potential, if they spent an hour showing they care about the experience.
Positives, our waitress was attentive and checked on us. Drink station was a nice selection. The Cajun sauce was delicious. Decor was pretty and music was good.
Sadly I wouldn’t recommend this place. For $30 a person you can get some amazing food, like that sushi train place in Ogden.
All of the food out was dry and old. It did not look as if the buffet lines had been serviced all day. The sushi had shrunk and dried to the rice. Selection is very small and the buffet food was not great tasting either.
The seafood was brought out after its boil and was still cold to the touch. After the second reheat, the food was still cold inside. The limited crab legs were airy and had shriveled meat inside. None of the seafood had taken in any flavor either. The boil itself was not very flavorful other than lots of garlic. Everything tasted as if it had been frozen for quite a while. Even the soup was bad.
Recently had a fantastic dining experience at this seafood buffet! Firstly, the restaurant offers an incredibly diverse selection of seafood, from fresh lobster to juicy crab; every dish is a true delight. I highly recommend their snow crab legs and spring rolls; both provide exquisite flavors that are truly unforgettable.
The service is top-notch, with warm and professional staff promptly catering to our needs. The restaurant boasts a spacious and well-lit ambiance, with thoughtfully arranged tables and chairs creating a pleasant dining atmosphere. Moreover, the cleanliness of the restaurant left a lasting impression.
Considering the variety of seafood options and the level of service, the prices are reasonable. Overall, this seafood buffet is highly recommended—whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or enjoying quality time with friends, it’s an ideal choice. Looking forward to visiting again!
we were greeted warmly by the waiter. they have what seemed like dollar store plastic table covers and ware. the fish nets and writing all over the walls didnt really help either. i know they were probably trying to make it oceany, but it detracted more than helped in my opinion.
we ordered the cajun rice, cajun fries, tonkatsu ramen, fried calamari, seafood special, the mango boba, and fried “icecream”.
the cajun fries were ok, the fries them self werent very good, and it seemed like there was just a bunch of cayenne pepper dumped on them.
the seafood special was cool in that you could create a personal touch. but the crab legs were not very good and the potatoes and corn that came with it were not cooked very well, the corn was over done and the potatoes were under done.
i really liked the fried calamari and the dipping sauces they had for it, i think they accidentally mixed in some fried vegetables as well but those were pretty good as well.
cajun rice was decent but kind of a meh flavor by them self, similar feeling with the tonkatsu ramen, but i found it nice to take a scoop of rice and dunk it in the tonkatsu broth. that made a very nice flavor that i enjoyed a lot.
we ordered the mango boba….the mango flavor was nice…but the boba was hard and not prepared correctly.
i was very disappointed with the fried “icecream” largely in part because it was jot icecream, it was some kind of weirdly fruity white sorbet, not icecream at all. it was ok but i probably wouldn’t buy it a second time.
overall i think this place is decent to try, and i might come to get more calamari to go, but i likely would not come to sit down often. it gives off the feeling of a dying not cared for restaurant.
You can eat crab… need I say more? The seasoning they use is the best around! Super nice and friendly.. and to top it off the kid section they made.. fabulous!!
