Really excellent new addition to Downtown Danville! Had some of the best spring rolls here and an excellent bahn mi as well!

Felt that the food was a great value and super fresh. Honestly it was on par with some of the Vietnamese food I’ve had in the South Bay!

I can’t wait to be back!

The Pho I had was dynamite! Noodles were nice & bouncy, broth was very tasty.

They just opened up last week, the owner’s son who was working the register said they are limited to seating for now. I met the mother as well, she was very nice.

Service was great, the restaurant was very clean, food was phenomenal. Only thing I’d suggest is have some chili/garlic paste available to add to the pho (sriracha & hoisin was there), small suggestion, but no biggie.

I wish them the best of luck in Danville, as they already have locations in Walnut Creek & Orinda.

I will definitely be a regular, as I’ve been PRAYING that Danville would finally get a Vietnamese restaurant. Those prayers have been answered lol

At last, a good bánh mì place in the Tri-Valley. They have a kiosk in Walnut Creek, but it doesn’t open during the weekend. This place does! We had #1 (cold cut) and #2 (grilled pork). Both bánh mì were very good. There are other dishes besides bánh mì. We haven’t tried them. We’ll definitely come back.

Great food! The pho and sandwiches were surprisingly good.

I think it was smart to make their food and menu approachable. My friend who’s never had Vietnamese food before was comfortable ordering on his own.

And again the food was really good!

Wow, this new place is fantastic! The chicken sandwich was a hit – it was so fresh and well-balanced, with lots of veggies, and the chicken was delicious. I also tried the Vietnamese coffee, and it was great – definitely the best Vietnamese coffee I’ve ever had. It had a perfect balance of flavors without any bitterness and medium-sweet. I had to hold off from finishing it because it was getting late, but I’m definitely coming back for both the sandwich and the coffee soon!

Great banh mi! So glad to have this locally in Danville. Will be back for sure, also to try the pho.

Ordered the lemongrass pork and tofu banh mi through the website for pick up. Food was ready on time, perfectly fresh. Very generous with the ingredients, perfect size for a meal. Order is easy to customize.
Great to see that there are 2 different options for Vegans/Vegetarians.
Would love to see a Thit heo quay (crispy pork belly) option in the future.

Not only was the food top-tier, but the restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. I got the pho and shrimp rolls, and the portions are well worth the money. All the food was fresh, and it’s hard to find this quality at such a great price. Kibis Cafe is the new hidden gem in Danville and definitely worth a try.

Loved this place. Really good service and great portion sizes. My two young boys (5 and 7) shared a bowl of pho (they gave us two bowls for it). Was perfect. Highly recommend.

We randomly stopped by here to grab Vietnamese sandwiches after walking on the nearby trail. Although this is a chain, this location seems small biz family owed.

Banh Mi Dac Biet 4/5*
The banh mi is smaller than I’m used to, but I could already tell it would be delicious by the bubbles on the toasted baguette. The bread was so crunchy and perfect contrast to the soft cold cuts. The pickled veggies were sweet and sour, but I thought there was too many carrots. There were A LOT of carrots! Overall great combination of flavors inside a perfectly baked baguette.

Grilled Pork Summer Rolls 3/5*
This was just ok. usually eat the shrimp rolls but decided to try something new. The grilled pork is the same type of grilled pork you’d get in a banh mi, which I thought was a bit dry and too crumbly for a summer roll. The veggies were fresh and crisp. Overall though, there wasn’t much flavor. The fish sauce, though, that came with the summer rolls were 5/5*. It was sweet and savory with umami flavor. I like my fish sauce on the sweeter side and this one had a nice balance, not too salty.

Vietnamese Iced Coffee 4/5*
Viet coffee always hits the spot. This one isn’t as strong as some of the others I’ve tried, which is nice for an afternoon pick me up.

There’s tons of seating and the decor is simple yet cute. I wish I had tried the pho because it smelled amazing while we were eating there. Water is self-service and there was a little trolley with tons of condiments. Great place for a quick and healthy meal.
