It was my first time dinning in. The food was definitely (no surprise there) better while sitting down instead of takeout/delivery. Unfortunately my food had inconsistent temperatures. The vegetables and rice were plenty warm, almost hot where the chicken was lukewarm. The steak was relatively cold as if it was cooked first and removed from the grill while the dish was finished. (Hibachi combo) Pur server definitely seemed bothered by waiting on our table. -1 for experience with service, -1 for the microwaving of my order instead remaking it. Creating the rice to become dry and overcooked.

Crab rangoos were not sealed well and missing most of their filling. Also there was no crab in them or imitation crab either. I ordered Pad Thai and it wasn’t authentic at all. The wrong noodles were used, the sauce didn’t taste much like Pad Thai. The veggies were ok but I didn’t like the addition of mushrooms. My wife ordered Combination Pho but there was jo tripe in it. The taste seemed a little off from the traditional Pho spices as well. Will not be returning here. Take your business to one of the other exceptional Pho places in the Quad Cities instead.

I can’t believe we haven’t eaten here before. The food is fantastic, the place is super clean and cozy, and the server is funny and humorous!

The food portion is spot on—there are restaurants that will serve you with too much rice or too much veggies, but this place gives you more viand which is perfect for me. We took home half of everything that we ordered since we were so satisfied and full already, which says about the portions of the food. The food tasted so good: you can taste the richness of the pho in udon; meat is so tender; and soup in the pho tasted so rich in flavor.

It’s just perfect, especially that pho in this cold cold winter. I’m so happy my husband and I found this place. We will definitely go back!

The food was an absolutely delight, great way to spend a date night. Our server was very attentive I really wish I would have gotten his name but he was on top of things. I highly recommend the boba they serve it’s is refreshing and pairs well with their sushi if you are looking for a non alcoholic way to cleanse the pallet between dishes.

The best sushi and sashimi place in town. I come here regularly but the past months the quality was kinda going down. Back here again today and the quality is back in business! Over the roof! Sashimi was very fresh. Rolls were on spot! Spring rolls always my favorite. I always put sriracha in the sauce to spice it up a little. Try it!

Our was very good. Our server just started so when I asked him what he recommended of the 2 items I was thinking about he couldn’t give be a rundown for he has not tried all the items. He did have the duck so I went with that. I got the Duck Special soup. Duck was a little tough but tasted good. The broth of the soup was very good, light but well seasoned. I will be back to try the other menu item I was thinking about.

This may be a lengthy post, but I will defend Fuji and Pho Cafe until the day I die. This is my favorite restaurant and this is why:

Let’s start with the food. There is a very wide assortment of different Asian foods, so there is something for everyone to find. I’ve tried many different kinds of sushi, all have brought me nothing but pleasure. The spring rolls taste like when Julie Andrews is running through the hills in “The Sound of Music.” I can’t even put words to how to describe the pho. The pho is heaven in a bowl. I’ve lost sleep over the pho; it’s like Christmas. They cook it for 12 hours. The best time to go is 8pm. You get the bottom of the pot and it is *chefs kiss*. I literally drink every last drop of that pho because it is liquid gold. Even as a to-go order I have not been disappointed. I’ve traveled near and far to try other restaurant’s pho and nothing, NOTHING compares. The prices for all the food are very reasonable for what you get.
Now I have seen many negative reviews regarding the staff, especially the owner. Sure, he can seem a bit crabby at times, but cut him some slack. If you actually had a conversation with him you would know that he gets up at 5 to start the pho every day. Treat the staff with patience and respect and they will do the same. It’s been a tough couple of years for restaurant owners.
I would highly recommend Fuji and Pho Cafe to anyone.

The sashimi is outstanding and fresh. The Pho is delicious. The broth is liquid love. I highly recommend Fuji. I wanted to try both. So I spent more than normally I would. Worth it!

A little pricey. They also have a forced 18% gratuity. Food was great. Nice atmosphere.
