The shop says that it is a restaurant , but never knew they were just catering service . Not much of options inside the restaurant. There were very limited things to buy z we were hungry and bought some mirchi bajjis. It was ok .. not the best in Edison but not bad too. Price was ok. They have a lot of other stuff to buy in the shop. They had ice creams too .. Parking outside is tight . Overall a ok Shop.

This place we ordered take out food for home party for 25 people and they give food for 25 but only enough for 16 people and every person is eat in regular manner still we don’t have enough food for our guests so be careful. Food is good but quantity is super less overall disappointing experience. If you make order clear everything and give them more order then you think. Man behind the counter recommended I try this cashew treat, as I wanted something sweet. He told me it tastes best at room temperature and that since it’s coming from a refrigerator, I should let it sit on the table for 30 minutes. I got a quarter pound for $4. They also sell containers on the right wall. Pleasant atmosphere and there is a table and a few chairs in the center. There are menus in front of the register.

Went there for lunch, they only serve Gujarati Thali. Choice of any 3 of the 4 curries of the day, Gujarati daal, along with 4 chapatis, bowl of rice and papad.
The curries were pretty decent except for the one we were really looking forward to – Undhiyo. This could have been better.
The chapatis were phenomenal! Thin and perfectly cooked.
However, very attentive folks, came over and inquired a couple of times.
The place has lost its shine since my last visit but I attribute that to the pandemic. The ambiance is not very inviting but go there for the food anyways.

Restaurant Manager charged 7% extra on credit card payment which is much much higher than any business elsewhere in US. I argued the manager but he did not accept that it’s wrong and at the end charged 7% instead of 3.5% extra which is normal.
They openly cheating their customers so I definitely not recommend this restaurant as they are not ethical.
Hope this review will help people to avoid this restaurant to save themselves from such fraudulent charges by the restaurant.
