The food here is soo delicious! Easily the bed pad Thai I’ve ever had. The tofu appetizer is really great with an amazing peanut sauce. The couple that runs it are awesome! Make sure to get here early as they are first come first serve and hours are limited. Well worth the wait!

Belmont is home to some wonderful traditions – the little yellow shop at SE 20th that deals in car batteries, the amazing Movie Madness, and, if you can find it behind the vines, Khun Pic’s. This restaurant has the most fresh and tasty food BUT it’s not your regular Thai restaurant and you need to set your expectations accordingly. This is NOT the restaurant for parties larger than two – in my opinion. It’s a husband and wife team – she’s cooking fresh, to order and he’s the wait staff. You should only order what you can eat and he’s advised us before to this extent. It’s in a secluded, romantic, Victorian with vintage plates and so forth. Super charming! I feel sad reading the reviews of all the people frustrated with the timing – maybe the couple should consider talking reservations that are staggered to match timing? I say #worththewait. Her sister also has a restaurant with delicious food.

This is the best Thai food experience I’ve had. The garden is magical; the couple that owns the restaurant are hospitable and provide amazing, kind service and that green curry was *out of this world* good. They’re excellent at what they do. 10/10 recommend!! Get there at 6!!

Delicious Thai food, lovely and charming atmosphere. Do plan to spend some time here as there are only two people working…the cook and the server. We had the catfish with vegetables and also a vegetable stir fry with chicken, both delicious. And the best Pad Thai I have ever eaten. The service was charming, the atmosphere very unique, quaint, with different tablecloths and china on each table. Fireplace was so cozy in January. It’s cash or check only, no credit cards accepted. If you’re in a hurry, pick somewhere else to eat. But if you plan to make a night of it, you will enjoy.

Fantastic place. A true jewel among restaurants. This is the type of underground location that people like to hunt for – a house-turned-restaurant hidden by foliage from the front, run by only two people, a couple, for almost 20 years. Kuhn Pic’s is a comfortable place with delicious food. BE PREPARED TO WAIT! This is a sit-for-two-hours type of place, especially if it gets busy. But don’t let that deter you. It’s very worth the wait.
