Started with the mixed vegetable pakora – shredded vegetable fritters fried to a nice, crispy golden brown. Served with 2 sauces. One sweet, the other slightly spicy. Also tried Khukuri Choela. This diced grilled chicken appetizer is seasoned with a rich blend of garlic, ginger, and various and spices, including turmeric, and cumin. It is full of delicious flavor. Moved on to a robust Gorkhali Goat Curry, a fragrant tomato based, seasoned dish. The meat was perfectly tender and seasoned all the way through. Be careful, as goat dishes are known for their sharp bones. Of course I had to try the perfectly crispy, tandoori-toasted garlic naan and a Mango Lassi, the perfect drink to cool the heat of your dish, if you didn’t order mild, like I did. Perfect, delightful meal and so much to take home. This was my first time at this restaurant, and I will definitely be back again. Thank you for a great experience!

Only thing I take one star off is that when we paid by card, it chose the 20% tips for you among the 18%, 20% (default choice) or more based on the total amount of the full price + 12.3% tax and fee (and I don’t know what fee it is and why it is so high! ).

Khukuri is a hidden little gem. I can’t believe we’re so fortunate to have them here in Front Royal. The food is always delicious and they give you a very generous portion size for each dish. Some of my favorites are the butter chicken, tandoori chicken, and I absolutely love their Mango Lassi.

Great first time experience! Read all the great reviews and decided to try it out. Started with the chicken chili and bread basket. It was one of the best Chicken chili dishes I’ve ever had! Great combination of sweet, tangy, and mildly spicy. Followed with the tandoori mixed grill, momo, and chicken Tikka masala. The tandoori grill was served on a sizzling skillet and was amazing! The sauteed onions and cabbage it was topped out was my favorite! The Tikka masala was outstanding, and every single bit of it was finished. The sauce was on point! The momos are like Nepalese gyoza if you’ve never had them, and the filling and dipping sauce are packed with many middle eastern flavors. Lastly we finished with the carrot dessert, which was the perfect flavorful ending. Our server was extremely serious, so we joked with him to smile more, which helped him open up. He was also very attentive to fill up our waters and deliver our food. Overall a great experience.

Delicious food and nice environment! Plenty of parking available. The thali we ordered was very tasty. Food was little spicy even with a medium, I would be cautious picking the spice level. I enjoyed the noodles, and chicken most. Unique fancy environment with quick service were the best part, will stop over again someday. Food portion was enough for a person.

My name is Ian. I have been going to this restaurant every week for a year. I love this restaurant and it’s food. My favorite is the butter chicken. The curry is sweet and savory, and the chicken is very thoroughly cooked. I recommend dipping the Naan in the curry. The staff is always kind and quick to come check on me and give me refills. I couldn’t have asked for a better restaurant so close to where I live. It’s my favorite part of my week, and if I could, I would give more stars

Hi I decide to go back to Khukuri I try fir the 3rd time to give a chance.
2 days ago I try at 3 pm the all staff was eating.
They ask me to come back in 1 hour.
Instead of wait I drove to another restaurant.
Today I try the same dishes I eat there before.
And was the same.
Food looks appealing.
But was over cooked, all the 3 meats was Dry.
I order the Tandori Mixed Grill.
And some Garlic Naan.
I was hoping to give a better review.
But that was my experience.
Hope yours is Better.

If i could find the right words to describe the euphoria i had when eating, this would be a poem. All of the food was spectacular. The chai was made fresh! Everything was cathartic. As a picky eater this was amazing. The food and spices were perfect. This was an experience like no other! I want the chef to teach me!
