That is why tonight was disappointing.
I waited at the front for over 10 minutes to pick up my order. I understand that waits happen. That was not the issue. The issue was that no one acknowledged me. I had to tap a young employee and ask if someone could help me. He asked for my name and brought my food. The young man was very polite and professional.
The owner was standing just a few feet away the entire time talking with friends and never once acknowledged me. Over the years I have seen him greet and engage other customers, yet neither I nor my family have ever been acknowledged. Tonight he appeared visibly bothered when assistance was requested.
I have never been in a business where the owner did not have the common courtesy to at least say someone will be right with you. That is all I expected. After years of loyalty and support, this experience was genuinely offensive and disappointing.
Customers are what keep a business alive. Leadership sets the tone. Humility and simple courtesy matter.
The food remains excellent. The customer experience, however, needs attention. I hope the owner starts to treat all his customers with equal kindness and courteousness. I hope he understand that there is no room for bias in business. They have not just lost my business but also the family, guests, and clients I bring with me.

The lack of consistency is discouraging. Today’s order was not good. Grape Leaves and Fried Cauliflower were bad. See photo, They gave us ketchup with this poorly prepared order. They also refused to refund our order after making them aware of the food being bad.. Over priced food $48.62 and a very bad attitude. Do not recommend this restaurant,
I ordered the Filet Mignon Steak Kabob plate which came with rice and Lentil Soup. By the time I ate my soup and the bread, I was full. The steak was cooked perfectly and the vegetables were equally as delicious.
Can’t wait to stop by for dinner. Give them a try.
Yesterday, I took my friends to Khoury Restaurant, and we were all genuinely surprised.
The food tasted almost exactly like what we’ve had in the Middle East — if not even better.
The hummus and the freshly baked bread were incredibly aromatic and delicious.
We truly enjoyed every single dish, and everything was full of authentic flavors.
The atmosphere was very pleasant, and the service made us feel comfortable and welcomed.
To end the meal perfectly, we had their Middle Eastern coffee and desserts, which completely satisfied my taste buds.
This will definitely not be my last visit. I’ll be coming back often and highly recommend this place to anyone who loves authentic Middle Eastern cuisine.
The bigger issue: my wife’s lamb kebab was extremely overcooked, stiff, dry, and essentially inedible. It should never have been served. When we raised the issue, the response was dismissive. The server said, “Well, you almost finished it,” which is insulting. I tasted some of it myself to confirm my wife wasn’t exaggerating — that doesn’t make serving bad food acceptable.
Their solution? A 50% discount. I have never been to a reputable restaurant that serves inedible food and then casually offers to split the difference like this is a flea market negotiation. This is not how customer service works.
Between undisclosed upcharges, poor food quality, and an unconscionable response to a legitimate complaint, this place completely missed the mark.
We will not return, and I would strongly caution others to be very careful here — especially if you expect basic transparency and edible food.
Service was okay. It wasn’t even busy but they forgot basic things like free bread that was mentioned to us as we sat but we never got til an entire table’s meal was made. They forgot straws, they forgot a water, and food was served slowly.
You can see the kitchen entirely as you walk to the bathroom. I saw several people just standing around. Not sure why.
Atmosphere was cool, very dim lighting but overall chill since it wasn’t busy.
Waiters gotta stop spacing out and think more.
