I have only left a few online reviews in my life, but I had to leave one for Khom Fai. I could not recommend this place enough! The service was incredible, with the staff going above and beyond for my birthday celebration. The food was fantastic, and you are able to choose your level of spice for each dish. The atmosphere was very high end, with dim lighting and perfect for date night! The prices were unbelievably affordable for the quality of food and service we received. Please try Khom Fai if you have not already!

Not Necessarily a complaint because I love Khom Fai and they are the best Thai food around. But, I had an interesting experience yesterday. I ordered carryout for my family and I, among other things I got the broccoli noodles with beef. The online ordering said my order would be ready at 5:04. I got there around 5, expecting to wait. They told me it would be ready shortly but then the girls up front looked confused and I could hear them saying they couldnt find the order. I am not sure what the case was…if they gave it to the wrong person or what. I finally got my food around 5:30 and headed home. When I opened my broccoli noodles with beef, it also had some rice, water chesnuts, peanuts and chicken in it. So I am just very confused what happened there. It was my first time ordering the dish so I was excited to try something new, but stuff happens ‍♀️ I always have had a great experience and no complaints so maybe it was just an off day. Or maybe I should stick to dining in, instead of carryout.

Cute space. Came here for the first time! We ordered spring rolls they were a good size and crab ragoons… amazing! The papaya salad was great. Our server brought a little side of spice to add to our dishes. We ordered med and needed a tad more. We will definitely be back!

I normally don’t leave reviews, but this experience was unacceptable. I ordered from this restaurant and found a staple inside my food. Mistakes happen , I wasn’t even upset at first. I simply called, asked to speak with the manager, and expected the issue to be handled professionally.

Instead, I was placed on hold for about five minutes, then someone came back on the phone who didn’t identify herself and later admitted she wasn’t the manager. She said she’d take my name and number for the manager to call me back but it’s been over a week, and no one has contacted me.

To make things worse, she tried offering me a “store credit,” which makes no sense since she wasn’t even authorized to make that decision. The lack of communication and accountability is honestly disappointing.

This was my first time trying Thai food, and unfortunately, it was a terrible experience. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone based on both the food safety issue and poor customer service.

As someone with Celiac disease, I love this restaurant so much! The house special fried rice is my favorite. The pad thai is also fantastic. I adore the summer rolls also. Definitely get a reservation if you’re going to dine in here, as it is not very big and understandably stays busy!

I’ve been to Khom Fai multiple times and have loved everything I’ve tried: lettuce wraps, pad thai (much tastier than any I’ve had before), red curry. But they really outdid themselves last night. I mentioned it was our wedding anniversary when I made the reservation, not really thinking it was going to mean anything. I was so surprised and touched when we got there and they had a special place setting for us and a lovely card. Khom Fai, I just want to thank you for making our day even more special with these wonderful touches and the amazing service we received. Not to mention, the food was delicious as always!

This is by far THE BEST Thai food around. Plus…. You can actually dine IN here. You are able to make a detailed reservation as well. The street soup is delish! Clean place, great servers, food top notch! If you get Alexis P as tour server, you won the server jackpot

Updating. Please tell your servers they should treat guests the same whether there is alcohol on the tab or not. Today was disappointing and not what we are used to. No follow up to check the meal, didn’t inform us the lobster fried rice was available, took forever to get her back to get the check (I believe she only had 2 tables at 430pm). Loved seeing you greet guests and be present though, what a great owner.

I waited until we had three visits in to make sure this place was the real deal. Most often you go somewhere and love it, and then are let down after. I’m happy to report Khom Fai is indeed the real deal. The servers are all a notch above what you’ve come to expect today, so pleasant. The food is prepared very well, definitely portions to match the prices, and quality ingredients you can taste. My only complaint is the spice level is low so you really need to tell them HOT if you like medium spice. I highly suggest trying the devil goons and dynamite shrimp if you like a little heat!

We had a fantastic time at this place! The food was absolutely delicious, and the portions were huge. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was really nice. It’s a great spot for a family outing or a date night. The food is reasonably priced! Try the spicy seafood devil Rangoon, really tasty!

Well I had high hopes. I follow the Facebook “Eat Local Macomb” and they really talk this place up on there.
It was our first wedding anniversary and we wanted something different, and we got it.
First, they take reservations online until within one hour of them closing. We weren’t ready to run out the door at the time they closed, we stayed 12 minutes past, and we could tell they were rushing us out. Cleaning up all the table top lights, turning over the bar, sweeping, etc.
Ordered a specialty cocktail they advertised on the table, my glass was served with lipstick all over it. Water glass was sticky the first time I touched it BEFORE any food was on the table. Opened my silverware when appetizers came, dirty fork. Dessert spoon came when the dessert was served-also dirty.
Appetizers were tasty-the chicken satay was very very dry…the lettuce wraps and coconut shrimp were the best thing we tasted the whole time.
Entrees came out so over the top hot. And not in spice level. I asked for mild plus, there was zero spice in my food whatsoever. My husband asked for medium, his was hardly mild.
My dinner (glass noodles) claimed to have tons of vegetables, I had one mushroom, 2 broccoli pieces, and maybe 3 green beans. There was no flavor or sauce on it. I asked for beef in this dish- which came out grey in color and cold compared to the scalding heat inside the clump of glass noodles. The pad Thai had a good sauce. But again, not any spice.
Prices are fair here, not over priced-but for what we got, rightfully so. Dessert choices are fun, but not anything special. Just Gordon food service pre-made things.
As for service-it wasn’t bad or good. We were served, we paid, we still tipped 20%. It was just a person collecting a tip for walking out the food we paid for.
I didn’t take photos of the dirty things because I’m not that person, but I’m very disappointed in the hype people sell this place as. There is no “dining experience.” It’s a Thai restaurant with eat in options.
