Had no idea KBM (Khatri Biryani & More) existed until we were handed a flyer!
The place is humble and unassuming yet the quality of the food and service definitely tells a different story. A story that will take you back to the Indian Sub Continent. Where families congregate together to share delicious meals over some banter.
Their menu is not huge so you are guaranteed exceptional freshness, flavours and customer service.
We ordered a Chicken Malai Boti Roll, Beef Haleem over Rice and a Mango Lassi.
Fahim was absolutely fabulous. A true gent. Our food arrived in a timely manner and piping hot.
My Chicken Malai Boti Roll was one of the best I’ve ever had. The chicken literally melted in my mouth. The addition of the puri (instead of the naan) made it extra special. As for my Mango Lassi…all I can say is DON’T SKIP IT! You won’t regret it and will probably order some to go.
My partner mentioned that the Beef Haleem over Rice was tender, spicy and served hot. The long grain basmati, complemented the Haleem and went down so easily that before he knew it he had finished his substantial portion!
This is a great place if you are craving authentic food made with love and care.
They also do catering orders!
There is free street parking right outside.

Pretty good and affordable. Love the samosa and the mint sauce? I’m not sure if it was the mint sauce but it’s spicy and I LOVE SPICY food and sauces. The sauce was PERFECT!
Biryani is pretty falvorful and also a bit spicy which is PERFECT as well.
Love the wrap; nice fluffy wrap; reminds me of prata bread which I love.
Overall, great food. Perfect spicy level.

In a classic old Rochester building you get the feel of classic Rochester. Beautiful red and green exterior. The dining room is cozy and vintage.
Mix that with real authentic Pakistani cuisine.
Seating is relatively informal and don’t expect restaurant-grade service but more like a casual eatery but the food portions and quality and taste are as authentic as any Pakistani cuisine can be.

Incredible flavors. I tried the beef sikh kabob roll and my husband tried the chicken Tikka roll. We didn’t know it was the first day of Ramadan. The proprietor was decorating and I was warmly welcomed. Delicious food and lovely people.

The gentleman who took our order on Saturday candidly expressed his inability to prepare the meal for Sunday, but confidently assured that Monday would be the optimal pick-up date. Upon our arrival to retrieve our order, the proprietor kindly requested a mere ten minutes to transfer the steaming, undoubtedly fresh food from stove to tray. By the time we brought it home, it had reached the ideal temperature for consumption. This private domicile, which solely provides catering, is not a restaurant for those that are wondering.
Oh yes, even though I’m primarily a carnivores animal I even found a vegetarian dish to be exquisitely prepared❗️
The fare invoked cherished memories of my grandmother’s unparalleled cooking. Entirely devoid of oiliness, we were offered the choice of spice level, and medium proved to be the flawless harmony of spices and heat. I can assert, without hesitation, that this catering service surpasses any Indian, Pakistani, or Afghani restaurant in the Rochester area, with ZERO exceptions. Its excellence is simply incontestable❗️
If you want a true HOME COOKED flavor, this is it, hands down❗️ I am so enthralled by my experience today that I give this catering business 20 out of 10.
