Hands down some of the best Thai food we have found in all of Omaha! Easily the best take on drunken noodles ever. The texture and taste of the noodle is one of a kind!!! The curry and chicken pad Thai were also excellent choices! The coconut soup was a great way to start the meal! Very small restaurant with a sizable wait for seating, but absolutely worth the wait!

Fresh homemade noodles! PAD See Ew melts in your mouth. Loved the pad Thai too. One of the best Thai restaurants.

We were looking for something light to eat on a Saturday afternoon and walked up to the door 4 minutes before closing time for the mid-afternoon and the lovely owner and cook so graciously welcomed us in. We had the most delicious meal i’ve ever had from an asian restaurant. Both she and her husband are very friendly and happy to see you. I had read that all the ingredients were fresh and not canned and it is so apparent in the taste of the meal. She even makes her own hot seasonings as well as peanut sauce and sweet and sour sauce with very exotic ingredients. The noodles are handmade from rice flour and other ingredients, but no gluten. I have never been so blown away by the quality of food that I experienced here in this simple asian restaurant, which is not fancy at all but the food speaks encyclopedic volumes

Khao Kiao is an absolute must-try for Thai food lovers! We ordered the Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, and Fresh Spring Rolls, and everything was fantastic. The Drunken Noodles, made fresh in-house, were a standout—so flavorful and perfectly spiced. The Pad Thai was well-balanced and delicious, and the Fresh Spring Rolls were light, crisp, and packed with freshness. The staff was warm and attentive, and the cozy atmosphere made the experience even better. If you’re craving authentic Thai cuisine, Khao Kiao is the place to go. Highly recommend!

The food, the owners, the staff, the care. It’s all 5/5.

Pad Thai: best I’ve tried, in Omaha or anywhere else. Sweet, savory, smoky, umami, and great portion sizes. It’s just got it all.

Pad Kee Mao: Again, best I’ve tried in or out of Omaha. Just enough basil to taste, but it doesn’t overpower the other flavors. Homemade noodles give a good chew and hold the sauce like a lost lover.

Fruit Rangoons: Pineapple ones were good, Mango ones were great, and the crisp, delicate wonton wrappers were light and airy without a gram of greasiness. The Homemade sauce brought a touch of sweet, a touch of sour, and just a dab of heat. It was good enough to eat by the spoonful…which happened.

The owners and staff were very pleasant. I don’t know her name, but one of the owners went into detail about how meticulous she is about her recipes and the layering of flavor and care she puts into every dish. I believe it. The proof is on the plate.
I’ll be back, and you should too.

Finally a Thai place in Omaha that didn’t disappoint!! My husband and I have tried countless places around town but this is by far the best tasting and best quality we’ve had! We had Pad See Ew which was amazing with thick homemade rice noodles and Pad Thai which was so flavorful and delicious. So fresh and you can tell everything is homemade, no artificial/fake taste. We will be back!

Not having sauces for Pho is usually a mistake or a flex. This place deserves 10/10 for the Pho broth, no sauces necessary!! Great La Dna as well, very flavorful. Owners are friendly and know their trade! Gem of a place if you want a great meal in a cozy family style place!

Best Thai restaurant in Omaha and Lincoln! We’ve been looking for a good thai restaurant for a couple of years and finally we found the one! Their Pad Thai is amazing! Can’t wait to go back and try other items on the menu. Plenty of parking available in front of the restaurant. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant is cozy. Absolutely recommend!

Delicious food and the owners are so kind and took care of us! Most of their menu is gluten-free and all of it is delicious. My favorite dish I’ve tried is the Laap (Laotian ground meat with sticky rice) but truly every single thing I’ve eaten here has been so yummy.
