Delicious! My dining companion said it was her favorite Indian place when she lived in this part of Oakland. It was charming. Their dinners come with a bunch of sides, so you get a little of everything, and the plates are a good size.

Good ambience. I found the food bland for the Indian taste. We tried samosas,they had very low spice level. They had option of ala Carta and dinner meals. We tried dinner meals one with baigan bharta and yellow lentil dal, and the other with matar paneer and chana masala. It was okay.Garlic naan was good. They should have a spice level to accommodate people with all kinds of spice appetite. They have good cocktail options. The servers were friendly. The highlight for me was dessert. We tried gulab jamun and they were to die for. I would recommend to try them here.

Oh so yummy!! Some of the freshest and subtly complex sauces that I’ve had for Indian. I stumbled on Khana Peena via door dash. Had a great delivery from them that wow’d me. So I went to their restaurant to see how they fared a second time.

Butter chicken was really delicious. Mango Kulfi is also a must try. Very friendly staff.

Very surprised (positively of course), any dish we tried it’s done with perfection and passion (that’s how we felt anyways). If you like Indian food it’s a must try spot. Special mention for the bar staff (Drinks are made with perfection).
