Another employee counting cash said they’d be with us, but after several more minutes, nothing. When the first employee finally returned, she told us it would be 18 minutes for a single piece of chicken. As we walked out, the second employee suddenly mentioned something about it being shorter, but by then we were already done.
After reading through all of their other reviews, looks like this is the norm at this location.
Incredibly poor service. Avoid this location if at all possible.
They’re super nice
The store is clean
Can’t complain at all
There was a party already seated and at one point a guy from that group got up for a refill. The girl behind the counter (didn’t catch her name, but I think it started with an M) came over to help him immediately. After she finished, she still didn’t acknowledge me. No one else was waiting, drive-thru line was completely empty when I pulled in and yet I continued to be ignored.
Eventually, the same girl finally came over and asked what I wanted. When I ordered the crispy chicken, she told me it would take 18 minutes. At that point, I just walked out without ordering.
After reading other reviews, it seems like bad customer service is the norm here. DO NOT GO HERE. Avoid this place. Not recommended.
And after I ordered at DoorDash and it says “ready for pickup” – it’s not ready at all. Not a big deal but kinda annoying, would prefer they being honest.
The atmosphere wasn’t great. It’s a basic fast food restaurant with a small and difficult to access parking lot. There were a lot of cars in it when I went in spite of only two other customers being in the store while I waited for my food. When I went the soda fountain was broken and had a sign explaining that refills would cost $.99, which obviously is a very tiny amount of money but is ultimately a slap in the face for anyone who has been to any other fast food place ever… We’re already being charged like $3 for a few pennies worth of carbonated water and syrup, you really want us to pay extra for a refill now too?
The service was very subpar by my standards. After putting in my order on a kiosk where there is no room for mishearing or misunderstanding I was given corn as a side rather than the Mac and cheese I asked for (and payed an extra charge for). I was left waiting 15 minutes for my food after putting in my order in spite of only one person being in line ahead of me, and that person was left waiting for several minutes after I had left… And that was more than 3.5 hours before they closed for the night. The only other customer I saw was someone who came in and picked up a mobile order so idk what was taking them so long… It wasn’t the drive thru because they only addressed 3 people on their headsets while I waited.
Final note, I know prices are always going up but golly these ones were crazy. For a pretty basic combo at this location I paid more than I would have at a good number of sit down restaurants. Individual side orders were $5+… It literally cost $5.99 for 8 fried pickles… 75 cents per slice of pickle… That’s barbaric. I’d imagine operating on Aurora avenue leads to somewhat higher prices but like… Maybe that just means that we as customers should drive the extra couple minutes away from Aurora so we don’t get gouged?
Point is I’m not coming back to this place absolutely ever, it has no redeeming qualities as far as I’m concerned. The old adage said “Good, fast, and cheap, pick two” and this place decided to pick none of them.
