This location needs better management. The food is generally quite tasty, and the counter/drive thru employees are pleasant and efficient as they can be. Unfortunately the store often runs out of necessary supplies such as certain food items and money with which to make change. Additionally they are often understaffed, which results in waits that aren’t acceptable in a “fast” food restaurant. If you’re not in a hurry they’re worth going to, but if time is a consideration I’d recommend you eat elsewhere

EVERY TIME I go here to this particular KFC I ALWAYS have issues. My order is wrong 8-9 out of 10 times. I always order the same thing & it’s NEVER the same. My famous bowl is either soup with all the gravy, or very little chicken or no gravy or no cheese or the bowls barely half full. Sometimes several of those things at once. They almost never give me the side I substitute. Half the time they forget my cookie that comes with the meal. It’s always something. I have an extra star though cause I’m nice but I’m not sure they actually earned or deserve 2

I would rate this a zero, but don’t have the opportunity to do so. Waited 40minutes for food, their customer service was terrible. They were all super rude, and during my waiting time, they were just talking and messing around until asked for an update on my food. They were cussing, and i and that if I were to have kids with me I would have hated to be there with them, and inside dining was a mess as well, there were only 2 clean tables and trash every where. Besides the messy eating atmosphere and the terrible customer service, the food was great. But I wont be eating there again. And I hope management does something about this, I do not recommend this place if you want to have a nice quick dining experience.

I went their for lunch today & the employees their had such amazingly great customer service. Food was great as well. But 1 thing, it needs a major renovation. It is run down, doesn’t look up kept, was not as clean as it should be. I think if they did a renovation & got it back up to par, they would have a ton more customers. The employees their DO NOT deserve to work in a environment like that. They deserve a nice up kept clean facility. If their is any way possible for it to be renovated, I HIGHLY Recommend it.

When I entered I could smell reused cooking oil. The gal that took my order also while working the window was great at multi-tasking. The young fella that filled my order forgot one order was for thighs only and also forgot to include our large mac and cheese. My visit was 3/26 at approx 4:00p.

The chicken seems to be shrinking over the years. I used to love KFC…the pieces were normal size, always seemed fresh and not dried out. Lately the basic thigh and drums seem to be from a large pigeon. I ordered a 3 piece dark meat, usually two drums and a thigh. The wing seems to count for a regular piece , although their is less than a bite total of meat on the bone. I got a medium sized thigh and a wing and a drum half the normal size. It was also dried out. They seem to want to get rid of everything ( although inferior pieces) before they cook a fresh batch. I ordered “original” for all 3 pieces, and they substituted a crispy without saying anything because they were out of original. This used to be a decent place to eat years ago.

The middle-aged African-American lady who seems to run the place is fantastic! She really knows how to relate to customers and gets the order out quick. She manages odd or difficult people with professionalism, patience and kindress. Food quality is “as expected” since it is a chain, but she makes it worth visiting. My husband usually goes in so I don’t know her name, but I’m going to make an effort to find out and post later.

The service was very slow. The cashier rang up my order incorrectly and then the manager had to come fix it. I ordered a 3 piece meal and 2 chicken littles. I was charged for a higher priced meal. I noticed the manager making the littles and saw that she used only the tiniest squirt of sauce to flavor the chicken strips. They looked no where close to the flavor shown in pictures.
Then for my 3pc, they only gave me thighs and a wing when there were breasts to be given. I know this because the customer after me received a breast. The thighs were also slightly overcooked and there was also only minimal gravy on the potatoes.
Being stingy with the product is no way to run a business. I am highly apprehensive about returning there after what I’ve received and everyone else should be as well

They cannot seem to get their prices right, I have ordered the same items three times and they attempted to charge me three different amounts. Twice the amount they tried to charge me was different from the price posted on the menu on the wall, when I brought it to their attention they said it was entered into the computer wrong.
Staff seem to be pre-occupied with something other than being helpful to customers.

This facility consistently has the dirtiest, grimy floor that I have ever seen! I almost slipped and complained to the managers on duty. Their excuse is that is how the sanitizer ends up. It is filthy and covered in grease and disgustingly slippery. My daughter fell multiple times and I almost fell. They have wet floor signs up but it’s not wet, it’s just scuzzy and slimy all over the whole floor! I gave them the benefit of the doubt and went back a second time about a month later and it’s still absolutely disgusting. If this is how they think their dining room should look, I’m scared of how they maintain their cooking equipment and serving surfaces! These managers need to wake up and deal with their filthy store! I will only go to the citrus heights location from now on! GROSSSS!
