I have been here twice…waiting a bit today while two employees were talking…I could have probably said something but I kind of wanted to see how long they went…after about four minutes they realized I was just standing there…had some chicken nuggets that were good for fast food.

I went through DT and order taker Simon was AMAZING. I was very confused and changed my order like 3 tines! He didnt miss a beat!!! I got to the windiw and he was friendly and helpful. He exchanged my drink that was off in flavor! He offered condiments. And when i got hime my order was PERFECT! KUDOS TO SIMON!

Was so excited that potato wedges were available only to be disappointed by the cold chicken that tasted like it had been sitting out all day. I ended up throwing the chicken away. At least the potato wedges were fresh. Do better Barstow

I ordered the 8 pieces original family meal with mashed potatoes and gravy. macaroni and cheese with four biscuits. I place my order though door dash. Everything was there. The chicken and the sides were hot and fresh. Will order again.

Very disappointed in the service and the food.
This is the only KFC in Barstow, and unfortunately, there aren’t many other options to eat here. When you see commercials showing hot, fresh, good-quality food, you expect to get that same experience when you walk in. But at this location, it’s nothing like what’s advertised.
The problem is that nobody seems willing to take the time to do the job correctly. Barstow isn’t that busy—so why not drop fresh chicken, biscuits, or sides when a customer asks? Most people would rather wait a few extra minutes for fresh food than be handed something that’s been sitting for 10 or 30 minutes. That’s not fresh. Fresh means straight out of the fryer, drained properly so it’s not greasy, and served right to the customer.
I go to this KFC often, and I’ve noticed if you go through the drive-thru, you usually end up with older food because they assume you won’t come back to complain. The only way to guarantee a decent meal is to go inside, request fresh food, and watch them make it—which shouldn’t be necessary just to get the quality you’re paying for.
Employees need to understand that their paycheck exists because customers keep coming back. If people stop eating here, jobs will be lost. All it takes is doing your job the best you can and serving food with pride.

We used the app to place our order. We received everything we ordered, and all of it was good with the exception of one thing. The gravy was a little runny and could have used some thickening (5 stars next time, if they’ve fixed it). However, everything else was perfect and it all tasted as it should. My son said that everyone was polite and working when he went in to pick up our food, and that the restaurant is clean.

The fried chicken breading was extremely soggy. I read the reviews and still gave it a chance, because their other locations are pretty decent. Maybe I should have ordered extra crispy but even crispier than that still would have been soggy . They also forgot my sauce. Popeye’s Chicken is far superior in Barstow don’t waste your money here.

Quality of food has gone significantly down. Its borderline a scam. This is not an isolated single event. Take a look at this 5-piece tender meal. Look how small these tenders are. They keep getting smaller and smaller. It’s almost popcorn chicken. You have to be kidding me.

Bought chicken tenders at drive thru. My, it tasted like rubber. The chicken was really dry. Paid $30 for a food not fit for human consumption.
