If I could give this location zero stars I would. My husband ordered a large order for our family online. It was estimated at 1 hour wait for delivery. We waited over an hour the poor door dasher called and let us know that KFC employees could not provide us with half our food would not give us our money back and refused to make any more tenders because the kitchen was closed and it was 8:00pm we ordered at around 6:30pm they close at 10:00pm. The manager was not trying to remedy the situation the refused to cancel the order or give us our money back. The poor door dasher was caught in the middle. We tipped the delivery driver well for her patience and help. But don’t trust this location don’t order here they don’t deserve anyone’s business.

The service is good, employees are nice and quick at the Southern Blvd store in Rio Rancho NM. Food is good and hot altho they sometimes run out of biscuits and you have to wait while your order sits. They should plan ahead especially on their “Specials Days.”

Just got KFC in Rio Rancho. Specifically asked if wings and nuggets were fresh. Women assured they were good but could make more if needed. Accepted the food in hand, Original chicken old, Nuggets old and dry, Wings dry and old and mashed potatoes and gravy were old. Sad that this is what to expect…. Spent $35

I’ve given this location multiple tries over the course of years. Each and every single time they have been consistently terrible with their food. The cashiers are usually very nice, but I think they realize the food is abysmal. It’s genuinely a wonder how this location still has their doors open.

The manager at this restaurant kicked me out for little to no reason. All I did was drop a fry on the ground and go to the restroom twice when I had diarrhea. He has no respect for truckers or the trucking industry even though some of us are hauling the food that he serves. It is for that reason that I recommend taking your business elsewhere.

Idk what the hell happened to this place. Felt like I was at Central and Wyoming. People in their pajamas with blankets and little kids looking like they live there. The poor little manager girl was friendly and trying, the only reason for any stars, but she needs some help. Kept having to chase the employees out of the office. Literally their whole job is to make chicken, yet they were out of it. Waited 40 minutes for a 12 peice meal! Get that poor girl some help and fire the rest of them rude useless kids in that building! The only thing good was my chicken since I had to wait for it to be cooked.

My son looks forward to “KFC for Christmas” and on Christmas Eve, we have always enjoyed heading to KFC to grab a bucket of chicken. I used the app to place the order and headed to this location. The app said it was ready for pickup, but when we got there, we were told there was no more chicken and out of luck. I asked if they could refund our money and was rudely told that they couldn’t do that and we would just have to figure it out on our own. She said they had nothing to do with the app. (Seriously?!) The woman at the register was absolutely rude and didn’t care to help. So $35 for nothing. Yep, we left empty handed and without a refund.
This year I also brought my son with us since the KFC for Christmas is really for him. He got to witness the absolute train wreck of KFC and especially this location. You’ve probably lost a customer for life.
As a bright ending, we did end up heading to Church’s Chicken on Paradise. Amazingly they did have chicken and the staff were polite and kind. The food was excellent.

I did an order on line for delivery, not a huge order. Bucket of chicken sides and some nuggets. Doordash delivered. After checking my order the only thing that was delivered was the chicken and some biscuits. Called DoorDash right away or at least the driver. And was told there was nothing they can do because I didn’t order through DoorDash. Called the store and spoke to the manager. But I have to say I didn’t get his name. We discussed what possible options might be I explained my situation. And to my surprise, he sent somebody from his store out with my side. Incredible service, thank you so much.

Me and my girlfriend were ready to eat here and then as I’m waiting in line I see two members of the staff that’s making the food in the back not wearing gloves, touching their face and so on, the manager had turned around and went to go help out and did the exact same thing. Being in food service for so many years, that really angered me and I will not be coming back to this place we didn’t bother ordering we just moved on to the next store.
