I never go to this location because its always TERRIBLE food!! I ordered the KFC famous bowl and I literally got 5 pieces of chicken. It was soggy gross and just bad, super blan and old chicken. So disappointing. NEVER coming back here.

If Bobby Boucher ate here, he would think mama’s wrong and Colonel Sanders was right! Almost like a museum with good food. Spacious and clean dining, super fast service and good fast food make for a pleasant fast food dining experience. The first KFC ever was in SLC, who knew?

This place is gorgeous! The food however, was disappointing and they got the order wrong. It upsets me when the food isn’t right because I can’t just turn around and go back like usual. I’m in a wheelchair and I was picking up lunch for my partner. Maybe double checking tickets before putting an order into people’s hands with the assurance you’ve got the right food? That would be appreciated. It’s much harder for me to do it and keep the food warm on the way home.

A must visit in Salt Lake City. While not the original building, the building is full of historic items from the history of KFC.

I’ve bought chicken breast here a lot. Both the original and crispy breast are good. The original one has peppery, tender and juicy but sometime a little salty.

Interesting visiting, but not as much of historic stories there as I imagined.

KFC is not very good. The food is sub par and over priced. We ordered a 20$ meal box and it seems to be a good deal. But then you start eating the chicken and there is not much meat on the chicken. The Fry’s were cold and if I were to take them out of the box it would have been maybe 2 oz of fries. The nuggets were also cold. There were only three sauces so ask for extra.

Not impressed with their service tonight. Was in the middle of eating, start eating my piece of chicken, and was so undercooked, was bloody! I am going to take it back tomorrow, since they are already closed. Advice:? Unless you want salmonella, don’t go here

Was SO looking forward to eating at this first KFC franchise. The chicken was dry and tasted old; the biscuits were hard and dry, French fries also tasted like they had been sitting a long time. The cole slaw was good, though!

It’s a KFC. The first one ever… in Utah, not Kentucky, just sayin’… I have never had a problem here and the food is always hot and freshly made.
