Well, I normally go to Chicken Express but tonigt I thought I’d try KFC. Haven’t been there in probably 15 years. I’m not sure what happened, but the curly headed kid at the window started to give me my order then some child looking person made him shut the window and took the bag out of his hand and said so something to him. then the curly headed kid took the big backmfrom the child looking person and handed it to me and said something about “I’m so sorry I wasted your time. My computers are down here. Your food is free.” I’m home now. Some of the food is fairly decent. I don’t know what’s going on with the chicken. I asked for extra crispy a pretty sure it’s original recipe cause it’s nothing but oil. The sides are good that it was free! That’s why I gave the fourth star. I don’t really know what happened. I didn’t really ask any questions. I took the bag of food and I left.

I ordered a family meal and wanted french fries as the side. I was asked to wait for fresh fries. I had no problem with that. My food ws brought to me witg the fry container 3/4 full. I go back to go inside just as they were locking up (how convenient) to ask that they give me more fries. They take my bag add a few more fries. Not as fresh as the other ones I received before. My chicken legs didn’t have any skin on them. For what we spend on fast food I need it to be dang near perfect.

I drove from Fate all the way to Rowlet to get chicken craving KFC. I’m so disappointed !! I spent 40$ on the 8 piece meal 2 extra biscuits a small Mac and cheese and large fries. Chicken was so dry and over cooked . I have been going to this location for 10 plus years and the last 5 years the food has really gone down hill. What is going on with this location KFC ?? I’m not sure I will ever go back the food was a total disappointment .

If I could give this place 0 star I would. They refused to make what we ordered. Kept making up excuses as to why they couldn’t and even said we would pay extra for it to be made how we wanted it. We have always placed the same order in the past and it’s never been a issue. And to say they don’t have enough chicken for the order when they had only been open a hour is just pure laziness on their end. Definitely taking our chicken cravings to Popeyes next time

So for now, a score of 2 but hopefully they’ll be back on track when this ends. Thank you for the offer of 11$ off but i won’t be back anytime soon. The only KFC I will ever go to in Texas. I am very picky because I have a texture issue when eating my food. I always order the same thing, the same complicated way. (Separations, substitutions etc) The employee remembers my order when I get there. Even when my husband picked up food for me, he knew it was for me and took extra care and time to prepare it exactly the way I like it. I realize my specifications can be frustrating to some, but I have always recieved kindness and understanding from this location. Thank you so much! Give that kid a raise!
