I traveled to Pryor, Oklahoma today to confirm whether the local KFC had brought back their chicken buffet. Upon arrival, I did confirm the buffet was being offered, as it was clearly advertised on a large sign outside the restaurant. Once inside, an employee at the counter also confirmed that the buffet was available.
That said, this buffet is much more limited than the traditional KFC buffets many people remember from before COVID. The setup was fairly basic, offering only a small selection of sides such as green beans, corn, mashed potatoes, and coleslaw. The chicken itself is not self-serve; you must request it at the counter, where staff will provide your choice of original recipe or crispy from the warmer.
The buffet is priced at $17, which includes the food and a drink. Service was quick, the restaurant was adequately staffed, and I didn’t experience any long waits. As for the food, it was exactly what you’d expect from KFC — average, familiar, and consistent. Nothing particularly special, but I did enjoy being able to go back for more original recipe chicken, especially the thighs.
One downside is the condition of the restaurant. It felt a bit run down and could definitely use a thorough cleaning and a facelift. Overall, this is still just a typical KFC experience. However, if you’re someone who really enjoys KFC’s original recipe chicken and miss the buffet option, it may be worth stopping by.

Sharing experiences for my coworker. Order was wrong & charged her card 2 different times. Still received the wrong food, chicken looked burnt, along with HAIR on the chicken, black & blonde hair! Disgusting & customer service SUCKS for a refund!

Decent for a chain. They were running short handed because they had sent most of the staff home. The few that remained were working hard to get orders out. Was told 30 minutes for a large family bucket. They had it out in 10.

We came in to get a 12 piece dinner at 7pm on a Saturday night they told us it would be a 30 minute wait for chicken then acted mad when we said we would wait. It’s ridiculous. There’s at least 4 cars waiting for food. It no wonder nobody come here. I sure wish it was like it was about 6 years ago. They used to have the best management

I ate here a few times and loved the Nashville hot chicken strips. The biscuits are really good. Tried the saucy nuggets and was not disappointed. Will be getting them again soon. Alittle exspensive for chicken, but it’s all around good tasting. It’s definitely worth a try. Mashed potatoes, gravy, mac n cheese, cole slaw and corn are the best sides.

havent tried KFC in awhile..tried it today and it was better than i remembered..spicy chicken sandwich was great, better than most others ive tried..and the fried chicken,mashed potatoes and coleslaw was great as well..the staff we encountered was very friendly..we will be back

The app stated it would be ready by 8 and we waitied almost 15 minutes longer. They were out of coleslaw so we asked for mac-n-cheese and they gave us a small even though we already paid for a large coleslaw…. also we ordered ranch and got none. I’d leave 0 stars if I could.
