Honestly I had moderate expectations. I ordered an oolong milk tea with tapioca boba. Regular sweetened and little ice. It tastes like water and a bit of milk, almost like 1% milk or skim milk. For $7.50 my expectations were reasonable. I just wanted milk tea that tasted like oolong. I really can’t express how mediocre this is. I’m drinking this because I paid $7.50.

I have previously had good luck with take out from here. But we ordered tofu, chicken, and green beans dishes last night, and it was the absolute worst Chinese food I have ever had. The chicken tasted like it had suffered from freezer burn. The green beans were not fresh but a pale white/green color. And the tofu dish was drowning in a very salty unrecognizable brown sauce. And the chicken wings were tasteless and over cooked. Perhaps they have a new cook? Whatever it may be, they need to fix it. We will never be ordering from here again. I would give it negative stars if I could.

I came here because it is located near my hair salon, I ordered the Korean Beef ribs to go. My food came out 3 minutes later. I live in Rogers Park, so I didn’t get home until about 50 minutes later. I took a bite and it was tasty until I found 2 pieces of hair. I was super hungry and coming from a 5 hour hair appointment so i threw it out and kept eating. I found more pieces of gray hair, a total of 5 or 6. Since my food cam out so fast, I assumed they make a big batch and give it to customers as they order so called to notify them that there was a lot of hair in the food and they should double check that batch before giving it to more customers. The worst part is that the beef was decent enough. I just couldn’t bring myself to finish it.

Asian version of Applebees. The food is good, but not great. Nothing you need to get out of bed and try immediately.
They have dishes from different Asian countries: Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, Taiwanese, etc. Different countries with different flavors. They have A LOT of options, but they’re all only mediocre.
Their Bun Thit Nuong was not good. Noodles were hard, egg rolls not good.
Pad Thai was alright. Had a hint of pad Thai flavor, weird after taste.
Avacado smoothie was not great. Very little Avacado flavor. Water down taste.
Udon stir fry was good. Would get that again.
Short rib was great.
Crab Rangoon had little flavor. Filling needed more flavor.
Service was fast. Server was nice.
Pricing was ok. Not worth considering not good food.

Ordered 2 smoothies – almost 20$ for small cup. Customer service was horrible. I called for pick up, walked in – didn’t greet. I told them Im here for pick up and the girl was like “call or online?/phone number” then give me the machine to pay while picking up another phone call (speaking with the same tone). Its so unprofessional to talk with no subject predicate to customers. Never come back to this location again

Prior to the pandemic I would go here quite often for the Pad Thai. Yesterday, I ordered chinese broccoli, which turned out to be baby bok choy, red curry shrimp which was watery and lacked any flavor. I also ordered the walnut shrimp. It tasted as if it was coated in mayonnaise, absolutely disgusting. The only thing that made a bit of sense was the garlic shrimp fried rice. Although that too was mediocre. Over $90 spent on food that was not worth it.

I ordered vegetarian fried rice and chocolate cappuccino smoothie with Oreo. The fried rice was properly cooked and contained mushroom, baby corn. I however felt that the quality of grief rice could have been better. Most noteworthy to talk about is the smoothie. It was mind blowing to say the least. It was the best smoothie I have ever tasted in my whole life. The smoothie costed $6 which I thought was cheaper given the quality. After enquiring about the person who made the smoothie, I got to know that the lady has been working with joy yee since past 10 years and is an expert smoothie maker. I have heard from others that this is the best place to get smoothies made of fresh fruits

The food here is always fresh and tasty. Huge serving size so the price is worth it. However they have a horrible atmosphere, they are so stoic its borderline rude. Ive eaten in once at this location, now I get my food and go. Honestly they don’t seem to like “other or different” people. Everyone had different experience so if you like their menu I would suggest at least one try. Or a different location.
