No wait, walked right in, were greeted promptly, order was taken by a friendly, competent male. We were advised there would be a wait of 4 minutes for the biscuits to be ready. That was not a problem, we obtained our drinks, found a seat, and within a couple of minutes our meal was broight to our table. Sure am glad we didn’t wait longer for what was included as a biscuit (see attached photo). The rest of the meal was typical KFC, but the biscuit was a significant miss.

My order was wrong after I got home to find out. A lady came in as I was picking nine up with a wrong order. I at that time asked if mine was correct. The young guy said yes.
I was missing a side of gravy and the dipping sauces that I explicitly asked for. My suggestion is to take everything out of the bag and check for yourself before leaving the restaurant. Very dissatisfied. I called and expressed my concerns. In my opinion it fell on deaf ears. Food tasted fine. Just a lack of it. Who wants mashed potatoes without gravy?

Update: The review I wrote four years ago is completely opposite of what this place is! This KFC is bottom of the barrel not only for KFC’s across America but the worst of all the restaurant industry in Great Bend! They can’t get anything right. The last time I tried the food tasted like chemicals and I said something. No resolve no nothing. The employee who when I asked if something was in the bag said yes and when I checked it wasn’t there said well I really don’t care. Then all the sudden a week later they want to charge for sauces that they’ve never charged for. The biscuits looked like they crumbled them before they boxed them and the chicken tasted like it’s been sitting in a warmer in the convenience store and they filled the sides only halfway up one was 3/4 at best. So sad to see one of the best places at its worst. They made the right choice when they closed it the first time.
4 years ago: Love this KFC. One of the better ones in Kansas! Buffet is so fresh and employees are really friendly. One of the better places to eat in Great Bend and if it’s not on the buffet they are quick to get it for you. Just ask! ♂️

Road trip with family decided chicken sounded good. Enjoy $5 fill ups. Was pleasantly surprised to find a Buffet. Things were good and tasty. The Buffet was stocked several times as we dined. Enjoyed very much. Will stop again when in the area.

Must of ran out of gravy and told no one. Gave me gravy that is not the right gravy was so nasty tasting could not even eat it. I only go there for the potatoes and gravy and that’s it because normally the gravy is kfc gravy not nasty knock off brand that is totally disgusting. And the biscuits are hard almost always, why not serve fresh ones during the dinner rush. Maybe make less early in the day and make fresh ones right before dinner. I literally threw all my food in the garbage. At least tell people you are out of the good gravy believe me people know and notice. And maybe pay employees more an hour so they make sure they give you spoons and condiments. If the gravy is this bad I will not be back and plus not just the bad taste but it had been sitting all day too. Wasted money down the drain. Stuff is expensive get it together quit making knock off gravy and passing it on as the good gravy. I normally don’t complain but this is nasty

The staff was very accommodating and friendly.
Eager to help me find my selection. My food was prepared quickly and out to me in no time. I’m going to make it my regular go to lunch spot. Definitely a 5 out 5 experience. Will be returning.

Went through the drive through… The gal was rude, so they had a bus come through. The dining room was empty. we literally sat in the drive-through for five minutes before anybody responded again, only after I said hello? she wasn’t going to ask me what we wanted for our sides, didn’t ask if we wanted dipping sauces, then our order didn’t have napkins, dipping sauce, or eating utensils. I thought the food was less than stellar as well. Won’t be back.

The food was overpriced for what we got. Even though we were there at noon, their two noodle choices looked like they had been sitting there for an hour. Apparently, they didn’t think it was necessary to have any drumsticks or replenish the chicken as they had one empty tray. At some point as we were eating, they did. They did put out some fresh okra at one point. The mashed potatoes were not good and were too far away as I could hardly reach them and the white gravy was watery and had no flavor. I felt dissatisfied. The chicken was just plain greasy and fatty. Overall, it was not a good experience I felt I had wasted the 10.00 it cost for this buffet.
