The last 2 times I’ve ordered from here through door dash on Sunday afternoon the chicken has been tasting like day old chicken. Today, we got 2 famous bowls today which were good. We also ordered a 3 piece chicken strip with two sauces(which we didn’t receive) and the chicken was mostly breading. It feels like this location is not bringing the customer service or quality of food up to their potential. I will never order from here again.

That was the worst chicken I’ve ever had. It was spicy after asking for regular Honey BBQ wings. The sauce was weird tasting. It was like they dipped buffalo wings in BBQ sauce. It’s 3 in the morning and my stomach is still flipping…

Terrible drive up service. The last three times I had to wait. Tonight it was 25 min for two crispy breast pieces and 4 biscuits. The restaurant basically had nobody in drive through and only one car in the parking lot. When I got the order home the meat was very stringy and tough not to mention the two pieces were definitely breast pieces. Darker meat with backbone and ribs. Totally disappointed and since this was the third time in a row of this treatment will not be back. Horrible way to waste my $$ let alone time.

When I got here there was no one in the restaurant. And they still took 20 minutes to get me my order it seemed like they where busy doing something else at first. They gave me the wrong size of things even though I paid extra for making the portions larger. Not the best atmospheres compared to other KFCs.

Their bathroom was very clean and even though they didn’t have the toilet paper in the dispenser they had both hand drivers and towel dispensers and hand sanitizer with soap dispensers. The bathroom smelled like chicken, it was wonderful.

Probably the nastiest KFC I’ve ever been inside…maybe even worst kept fast food place I’ve ever walked into. Was late afternoon and very slow, I was the only one eating inside and there were a couple cars in drive through. Looked like the place had not been cleaned all week. There was food and trash on almost every table in the restaurant as well as all over the floor. Soda spilt all over the drink station. At first I blamed it on being short staffed like most places are but then I realized there were 5-6 workers there they were Just all mostly hanging out.

Deplorable. It’s not hard to put an 8pc chicken and 2 sides together… ordered online. Got the 8pc family meal with 2 sides.. They only put 4 pieces in the bucket. Looking at the reviews now and seeing how incompetent,.and ignorant the staff is. I’m surprised they can even dress themselves in the morning. Worst place ever. AVOID it as if it’s the black plague!

Wow—thank you! What a fantastic experience from someone who’s been eating at KFC (sporadically) for over 30 years.
For a long time, I had pretty much given up hope. With so many locations closing and the declining quality at others, it was disappointing. Even though there’s a KFC closer to me in Shawnee, I still make the drive to Lenexa—and it’s absolutely worth it.
The Original Recipe chicken is no easy task. It takes real skill to properly brine, bread, and fry it. More often than not, I’ve encountered greasy, undercooked, or overcooked versions elsewhere. But here? They do it right.
I’m happy to say the quality and service I remember from the ’90s and 2000s is alive and well at this location. There’s an extremely friendly front-line staff member handling in-store, drive-thru, and carryout orders like a champ. And the small kitchen crew? They’re clearly skilled and making it all happen, even as a skeleton team.
It feels great to enjoy KFC the way it was meant to be again. Thank you!

The food was adequate. The ‘extra crispy tenders’ were soggy with hardly and breading. Although we ordered the lobby, we still got our food in a to go bag, creating extra waste and leaving us eating off of napkins.
