Definitely one of the cleaner Kentucky Fried Chickens I’ve ever been in. They were not super busy when we stopped about 5:30. I was concerned thinking we’d get dried out chicken but it was delicious and they pulled it out of the warmer for us. I wish I could remember the young lady’s name that served us but she did an excellent job

i went through the drive thru here on the start of my long drive home from Okoboji. I ordered an iced tea for a drink as they didn’t have diet coke or diet DP. I’m not overly fond of pepsi. I pulled up to the window and they handed me my food and the tea, and I asked for sweetener and she seemed shocked I asked for that. Well, we don’t have that, she said. I was like, oh, well, I won’t drink plain tea, and I don’t want sugar sweetened. So asked for a diet pepsi instead. She seemed really put out about that.
The food was very good, and I had asked for plenty of napkins to be sure I didn’t run out on the road while eating, and they had complied with that. But the way the employee reacted to my request for a different drink hit a real sour note. Employees need to be friendlier, understand the customer’s needs and any reasonable requests.

Ordered some chicken strip meals but given no sauce. Waited at the counter for several minutes to be acknowledged and several more just to get 1 BBQ for 2 5 PC strip meals.

I was going through on a Sunday evening after work. Hadn’t had KFC in a long time, so I thought I would treat myself to some of the Colonel. I ordered a 4 piece extra crispy and wanted to try their chicken sandwich. I took my order to go. My 4 piece was not extra crispy. In fact it was slimey and pretty gross. I got fries. They were pretty bad too. Must not have been wedges on the menu? I ordered the sandwich by itself, not a meal deal, just to try it. It came as a meal because there were 2 orders of gross fries in my bag. The chicken sandwich provided a bit of redemption, it was pretty good. This all cost $30ish. The lady that took my order was very sweet but I think she was hard of hearing, I repeated things several times to her. That’s probably why I didn’t get my extra crispy. The dining area was very clean. I was pretty disappointed for the most part.

We just got back with our order. The food was awful. The chicken tenders had no breading and were a weird grey color. They were also cold. The sides were decent expect they left out the gravy for the mashed potatoes… who wants mashed potatoes without gravy? We live in Milford otherwise I would have drove back and got my money back. Terrible waste of money. Do better Spencer KFC

How can you do something for so many years and still don’t get things right? Do the owners ever eat there? I’ve been to many KFC’s coz I used to enjoy eating there when they had chicken and it was good now I’m not sure it’s even chicken, whatever it is it’s terrible.If you go there after 5 good luck getting the chicken you want as many times they say they’re out of that kind. Also deceiving the public by inviting seniors to dine there with a “senior discount” when I asked for it with my order I was told the discount is included in my order being I ordered a combo meal, if everyone that orders combo meal gets this discount in my opinion that “senior discount” they offer is nothing more then a way to trick seniors into coming there. What a very poor business model to operate on and total lack of respect for the people who keep you in business how sad.

I ordered a niche deal from here, not sure if it was old chicken( re heated) or over cooked. But it was mixed. Some pieces were juicy and very fresh tasting and others dry and chewy. Everything else was good.

Had I written this review before the remodel, it would be rated lower – but it’s much cleaner and transparent now! We went for the lunch buffet and experience a hot and fresh spread across the board – other reviews state that the pans were not rotated out and the food was old and cold, but this couldn’t have been further from the truth for us. Employees were coming out from behind the counter to wipe up spills and refill low pans on the buffet line constantly. Service was pleasant and speedy.
